Boden Sale, what are you keeping and what are you sending back?

Keeping - Mauve boyfriend cardigan, I like it. Its not a boyfriend length on me but it does cover my arse!!! Spotty cropped favourite cardigan in navy, I always like their cropped cardis and this one looks better than I thought it would. Patent buckle belt well, I would never have paid full price for it but it was cheap and will be handy.

Going back - Lilac/pink washed lined blazer, absolutely horrific, do not buy!! The colour is neither here nor there and the shape is like a square box. Its just wrong!!! Summer scarfs both the patterned and plain, people actually pay £40/50 for these flimsy bits of nothing?? the colours are gaudy too. River Island does much nicer ones for a third of the price.

Thats my sale buying. Now for the post office......

Anyone bought the Knotfront tankini top and bikini bottoms in a 12? Are they flattering? What about the Funloving shorts in dark denim?

Ive managed to cram everything into one box, I just hope it doesnt come appart!! I must say Ive never sent so much stuff back to Boden.

CornflowerB, I have the bikini in Blue in Size 12 and it's lovely. I also have the shorts - tried the 10 and 12 and kept the 10 - a little tight on the tummy but a better fit on the thigh (I am apple rather than pear shaped .

I rang up today on the off chance and asked if they had a statement satchel in gold or bronze in stock, and the colourblock dress in hibiscus /purple in my size (classified!). It turned out they did, though not showing online - presumably because they only had the odd one and it wasn't worth updating for them. So well worth trying the phone ....

mumsnut I have the colour block dress also in the same colours, isn't it fab?? You will not be disappointed, I would have them in every colour if they had them left! Easily their best item of the Summer!

I am keeping the funloving floral dress (blue) and the swishy skirt (blue/green). Sending back wide-legged linen trousers which are the exact shade of petrol blue as my old school science overalls (ie not good). Patent pumps size 5 are going back as they are more like a size 4.

Anyone got the Essential summer dress? Opinions? Got it in brown but not sure...

You will like the bronze satchel, I love it. I was abit iffy at first but it lots of people have asked me where I got it from.

I think that means my shorts might be a bit baggy on the leg, but we'll see...

Don't buy the snake print flat shoes- I'm sending them back coz I wore them twice & the leather scuffed REALLY badly, definitely not worth £30

If everyone hasn't disappeared to order from the Autumn catalogue, you can get a Freepost returns label from Boden if you phone up and ask nicely. I told them it would encourage me to buy more in future. They sent me 3! Oh, and just DON'T buy their cashmere. It's poor quality, overpriced and my £89 jumper disintegrated within a year! :)

the cashmere this season is definitely not as good as previous ones.
