ollie, you are so creative, I'm sure your spaceship cake will be a triumph.

I'm on the train in my winter scarf! Well it was 9 degrees when I left! Luckily I 've got a big enough handbag to stash it later and appropriate layers. Hair is a mess. Can't wait to have it done.
I will be going to Gant (thanks dolcee), Jigsaw, Kew and John Lewis apart from my lovely lunch appt in Harvey Nichols!

blossoming · 17/07/2010 08:44

Ooh, just turned to page 9. Lisa Armstrong looking wrong again. Is it the hair??

FritziGreenEyes · 17/07/2010 09:34

That's wonderful news bunnymother! Great excuse to buy cute new babyoutfits as you will need more with 2.

diw19 · 17/07/2010 09:50

Morning all,

Congratulations bunnymother! My friend has twins and they are a miracle and adorable (like all children!) but so special.

I hope everyone has a great time at the meet up tonight, very envious. I would love to see some photos of the outfits for further W&A inspiration.

Just to say that I bought two pairs of ballerina pumps the other day and have returned one pair. I read through the threads and told myself that two pairs was not wise and avid and I found that I already had purchased one of the colours previously (oops).

Have lovely weekends

carciofi · 17/07/2010 11:04

Have fun, Blossoming and Tracey. Gant is lovely, I got a great blazer from there recently.

Bunny, has it sunk in yet? My cousin has twins, she said that they were the easiest babies.

MM, I read that thread, shocking. I can't stand Facebook and I hate Coca Cola!

Got to go tidy up for our friends arriving, have a good time tonight.

hf128219 · 17/07/2010 11:59

Bunny Just a quick one - Congratulations! That is just the loveliest news

OllieWollieWoo · 17/07/2010 12:03

Back from a shopping trip - of the toy kind tho! Got the Playmobil Police Station for DS1, some walkie talkies and some football goalposts - all of which have been much longed for by DS1. We will give the Playmobil but rest is from my family. Also picked up some cute wooden birdboxes with heart shaped windows which you can paint for my friend with twin daughters who will be 3 in Oct - v cute - and v organised for me to buy so far in advance (they were on offer tho - wise)!

All the clothes shops here now have hardly any sale stuff left and its all Autumn Winter stuff - the Benetton concession was full of winter coats!

Have lovely shopping trip Blossoming & Tracey - good shops to visit Blossoming. Hope you pick up some nice stuff in the Jigsaw sale. Would be funny if you bumped into each other!

blossoming · 17/07/2010 12:14

London is like a different country weather wise. My hair is short!! Well to my collar/necklace. Looks great but will I be able to recreate?
Having lunch. Long time since 5.45!
Dc1 has the police station and loves it ollie.

Librashavinganotherbiscuit · 17/07/2010 12:54

Morning all, am very jealous of your meet-up tonight have a wonderful time and please someone have a mojito on my behalf. Also can we have a photo of everyones outfit!

Bunny - I can imagine you are in shock at the moment with the thought of twins, give yourself time to get used to the idea don't imagine you have to be all hip hip hurrah immeadiatly. Congratulations however

roary - glad the mastitis has cleared up, I was lucky and never suffered, cross fingers for this one the same.

notyummy - that retro party food sounds delish, hope the party goes well.

Plumsykes - love the details on that Vanessa Bruno dress

Eshermummy - what is this handbag you stroke? Also if you are a member of a gym there might be PTs there qualified in postural alignment, if anything as part of their basic training they should be able to teach you how to stand properly, if you want to google it's called neutral spine.

Dolcee - that gant dress is nice, easy to dress up as well. Is the quality generally good, never bought anything from them before.

LTEC- where is your blog about the travelwrap, just been to their site and can't see anything.

This morning my hush purchases turned up
this I am keeping, will be great post-baby
this is going straight back entitled - rip off yes it's silk but at an original price of £85 it should have been at least lined. Tbh I think if you do your pregnancies nice and neatly it would be a great buy at this price as its pleats in the front easily accomodate a bump, I would advise a vest top underneath however as even my smallish Cs were spilling out!
Also bought this, cheap, again for post-baby as covers tummy nicely and I am hoping I won't be size 16/18 for long!

My current obsession is nappy bags, I don't want a proper nappy bag think even the posh ones like Storsak still look like nappy bags so want a huge leather thing. unfort the oakley oushka which would have been perfect is sold out but Radley are having a sale and am considering
black or tan
black even tho it looks a very dark brown
current fave, maybe in Grey?

The bag needs to be quite large as I will have toddler (2.4) in nappies as well as newborn.
If anyone sees anything out there that fits the bill (large, stylish, preferbly under £100, can be used long after DC don't need a mountain of stuff lugged around) PLEASE let me know.

carciofi · 17/07/2010 13:06

Gant is great quality, I think.

Libra, I like the Sherborne in grey the most.

Notyummy and OWW, hope your DC enjoy the parties.

LetThemEatCake · 17/07/2010 13:23

it's on this page Libra, the Leon one

hope the party goes well ny!!

OWW your ds has same b'day as my dd no? 2 August?

nice to think of all the littl'uns having their parties - and many of us being pg in that sweltering summer of '06!!

have fun shopping bloss! sorry we won't see you this evening. Glad you are happy with your hair.

hope you had a lovely night Marsha

I've had no time to beautify in advance of tonight - too busy making food for nursery party and going for 15km run in last -ditch attempt to lose a stone so will really have to hope that outfit (whatever that might end up being) hides a multitude of sins.

Better go and get sorted. Have lovely Saturdays all

Librashavinganotherbiscuit · 17/07/2010 13:43

LTEC I LOVE those Louboutins, those are the type of shoes I DREAM of wearing (I'm realistically a trainer girl)

OllieWollieWoo · 17/07/2010 13:46

Hi Libra - I know I've linked to this changing bag before but I can't sing its praises enough. Really good quality, size and lots of helpful details. May not be the right colours for you if you are looking for grey or black and its a changing bag which you said you dont want - so not very helpful!!!
here

Like all 3 of the Radley ones tho! Would happily wear any of them - and I no longer need a changing bag!

Yes LTEC - DS1 will be 5 on August 2nd! I was pregnant, hot and bothered during summer 05 tho! Sure you will look gorgeous whatever you wear. Understand re people not wanting their pics on MN but maybe someone can take a pic of you all together from the neck down and we can guess who is wearing what????

OllieWollieWoo · 17/07/2010 13:47

I also like this one:
here

OllieWollieWoo · 17/07/2010 13:52

Oh yes - our kettle has sprung a leak. Anyone have a stylish one they would recommend????

roary · 17/07/2010 13:54

Just dashing in because dinner party was a roaring success and therefore late night, and MUST sleep while both little monsters are sleeping.

But I am buying this little gem

roary · 17/07/2010 13:55

Except I am not. It is out of stock

blossoming · 17/07/2010 14:18

libra, check out Il Tutto. Almost caused divorce in my house when dh found the price tag!!

blossoming · 17/07/2010 14:24

hf, I tried on the dvf bec dress in HN. It fit like a glove. The neckline was nice and drapey. Made me want to have a massive 40th do and invite everyone I know and wear that dress. Must have a word with dh!

OllieWollieWoo · 17/07/2010 14:24

What a shame Roary - lovely dress. Is it cos its from the A/W range and they will have some new ones in soon? Ring Customer Services. Glad dinner party was a success.

Librashavinganotherbiscuit · 17/07/2010 14:26

OWW- thanks for that but would't wear it without baby in tow (even tho they are very nice for with baby!) Love the peony and moore ones!

Roary - nice dress, do they do email notifications when back in stock?

Blossoming - OMG, ok I take it back there is such a thing as a nappy bag that doesn't look like a nappy bag. Love this in red but those teddies are horrible (presume detachable?) and my DH would't divorce me as he would have had a heart attack if he saw the price tag.

OllieWollieWoo · 17/07/2010 14:28

Your hair sounds lovely Blossoming. Just looked up the Bec dress - wow! Did you try the Myrtle? (purple) one or the one with a print? Would make a great 40th dress - could you try justifying it by saying you promise to wear it to your 50th as well????

MarshaBrady · 17/07/2010 14:56

Hey folks. Have a great time tonight! You will all be looking sensational.

Last night was good, one bf'ding run (and I mean run, ran back to the house!). I was out very late and have been remembering some of the stuff I was talking about (groan). But was good fun and outfit was good choice - you know how you have to feel you've 'cracked it' before you can have a good time...

CHOOGIRL · 17/07/2010 15:08

The pressure! Am going to collect my VWA dress from the dry cleaners. I can't decide which shoes choos or these with this clutch.
