Oooo, everything - you look sooooo chic!

Beautiful.

monkeysmama · 13/07/2010 16:36

You look great Everything. I love that hat and dress and your make up looks beautiful too.

I'm angry. Replacement Lolas arrived with two beads fallen off floating around in the dust bag.

bunnymother · 13/07/2010 17:19

Ooh everything - weren't you the cat's pyjamas?! Love the outfit - soo elegant!

MM - HOW annoying!!

MarshaBrady · 13/07/2010 17:56

Everything you look very lovely and fabulous!!

blossoming · 13/07/2010 18:15

Wow, you look gorgeous everything.
how annoying and disappinting of them to sell shoddy shoes mm.

LetThemEatCake · 13/07/2010 18:37

totally wow, eie. Am so glad you went back and got that dress - made for you.

MM that is tres annoying. I have a pair of antik Batiks that came, unworn, with a buckle missing but at least they were only £20 off ebay (£4 to get buckle replaced!)

have been very avid today All good purchases though, I think, and all 2nd hand. Fabulous dresses and belts, among other things - am building up my new look for AW10 which I have decided is going to be ladylike and non-bfing friendly.

Off out with the nursery mums tonight.... and party Sat has been changed to 2-5pm, so can be at meet-up by about 6.

Last time I checked we had 6 people for sat night. Choo where are you?? If I start sending you names can you make a call on where we go?? Or do any of you have any preference?

tracey sorry you are feeling off colour, hope it passes soon.

hells have a fabulous holiday and knock'em dead with that Dukaned bod. SiL, who???

Everything you looked really really lovely

LTEC - are you cutting down on feeds yet? I'm down to a couple a day but finding it hard to totally stop.

6pm sounds good on saturday night Whats the weather going to be like I wonder.

OllieWollieWoo · 13/07/2010 20:32

Everything - agree with all the comments above - the dress is gorgeous - as are you in it!

Booked to have my colours done in the first week of August! Oh yes, my parents have agreed to have DSs for Ocober half term NEXT YEAR so DH and I can go somewhere to celebrate our 40th's b-days! I was thinking New York - DH was thinking somewhere in the UK . Glad I have 18 months to work on him!

Have a great holiday Hells.

Librashavinganotherbiscuit · 13/07/2010 20:40

sorry to gatecrash people but LTEC can I just ask you where you got your cashmere blanket/scarf last winter (I am compiling birthday list!)

TIA.

monkeysmama · 13/07/2010 20:43

Quick bit of shoe feedback girls?

I want a pair like the Lolas which dress up a simple outfit. I just don't wear heels anymore really (having worn nothing else pre dd) and want a pair I can wera with hareems, jumpsuits, dresses and look a bit more dressed up.

All quite cheap but means I can get a few pairs unless I see a beautiful expensive pair iyswim.

Cheap looking? wonder if they'd work on holiday evenings?

Less blingy but pretty and v cheap

Quite nice though may fall apart quickly?

These?

As I said a week or so ago, I've lost my footwear mojo so any big no nos please let me know .

These though maybe they're not really a holiday shoe?

I've never worn white shoes but might look nice?

Have looked at MW and NAP and not seen anything....

Btw - thanks to everyone who gave me shoe advice the other day.

OllieWollieWoo · 13/07/2010 20:43

Forgot - Blossoming and anyone else - the M&S sale starts next Thursday - 23rd apparently.

FritziGreenEyes · 13/07/2010 20:51

Can only repeat what the others say: You look gorgeous in that outfit everything!

blossoming · 13/07/2010 20:53

ollie, dh knows I would love to go to NY for my 40th this year but he really hates the States after travelling there as a student. Also there's no way he'd leave the kids for a decent amount of time. I'm going to have to think of (expensive) treats closer to home!!

traceybath · 13/07/2010 20:54

MM - I like the second ones best.

OWW - New York definitely!

OllieWollieWoo · 13/07/2010 21:00

Maybe we should ditch the Dhs and have our own W&A trip there Blossoming!!!

MM - I am hopeless with shoes - just don't seem to buy a lot (have v long big toe which I've always had a complex about!). Like the second link and quite like the white ones too. None of the links struck me as being a big no tho - good choices imo!

Great idea ollie!!

FritziGreenEyes · 13/07/2010 21:25

everything

hf128219 · 13/07/2010 21:30

everything I was just going to post how absolutely lovely you looked. That hat is top notch.

Then I saw your last post. That really is sad.

traceybath · 13/07/2010 21:37

Blimey everything - he really is a bit of a plonker then!

HF - will you still go out for your birthday this weekend or are you playing it by ear because of your father?

hf128219 · 13/07/2010 21:52

tracey Just going to play it by ear. Dh and I were going to go out for dinner on Sat night and then all of us out for champagne afternoon tea on Mon (my actual birthday).

I still hope to do the afternoon tea bit - but we'll see.

eshermummy · 13/07/2010 21:57

Everything you looked beautiful.
Sorry, but your dh is (evidently) a tool.

Aagh ladies, can we have a meet-up wear discush please?
I have suddenly decided that I really need some black heels for Saturday as want to bust my new handbag which is black and my only heeled (not that high btw, I don't really do high) are dark choc brown. This is a disaster no?
I am blaming MM for planting the seeds of a black fierce shoes search into which I am now plunged

What are the rest of you wearing?
I am thinking a dress maybe
I know I am getting a bit stressed about this as am now considering head to toe black aka safe default option!!!

hf128219 · 13/07/2010 22:02

Esher If I was coming I would probably wear all black to be safe! I would also be caught in the loos at Selfridges/Liberty touching up my face and then probaby having a quick glass of vino round the corner to steady my nerves!!!

FritziGreenEyes · 13/07/2010 22:05

mm - How disappointing that the Lolas are such bad quality. Wanted a pair of Antik Batik sandals but all sold out in my size now. Like the gold pair from your list and the ones from Warehouse best.

I'm sure you'll all look gorgeous on Saturday!

Have my 40th next year. Hope to go somewhere nice, sunny and beachy with DH and DD. Have also considered a weekend somewhere nice with my five best girlfriends. Maybe I should do both .

Where is vin? Has anyone heard from her?

AllBuggiedOut · 13/07/2010 22:18

You look stunning everything. You must be really pleased with the way all that thought came together so beautifully. And, like others, I'm so sorry yur DH is being a twat

Hurrah for colours oww! And I'm another who's hitting 40 next year so I will watch with interest to see how others are celebrating!

Peony & Moore gold bag has gone back - it said it was "linen look" leather - more like "hessian" IMHO
