Oh lord if any of you can help i would be soooooo grateful.

i have green metallic glasses, right? looooovely ones, mikli/starck etc cost a freakin' fortune. and i am wearing a pink dress to a wedding (IN FRANCE, SODDING GOLD TRADERS APLENTY, THE POTENTIAL FOR SNOOTINESS ABOUNDS).

aaaanyway... it's only after coming home i realise that those glasses pop a little against the pink. fine, i like pop. so without running the risk of looking too matchy-matchy i thought maybe a green clutch and some green OR gold shoes. however, the woman in JL (yes, i know) said that i HAD to get green shoes as gold not appropriate (even with humungous gold zipper and potential for green and gold accessorising at wrist).

aaaand, oh i don't know. i'm just blethering. do you like my dress?

have any of you seen any nice green shoes lately? i've got good pins, can carry off a heeled glad-type thing. did try these on today and they are MASSIVELY comfortable but ever so slightly mumsy in the heel imo.

any advice?

Love the shoes, but drop the green bag. Go for a purple bag or orange if you want to push the boat out.

will take it all under advisement. purple bag should be easier to get hold of, i think.

Was about to suggest these little beauties that I saw yesterday when looking for my own accessories. They were the wrong green for my dress, but lovely nonetheless.

i got wub's irregular choice ones, i am a little in love with them. which is weird because i really, truly LOATHE that brand.

so pink dress, pink/purple/gold shoes and i'm getting a loan of a bag from millionaire pal, huzzah! she has purple, she says. am thinking that my sunglasses (which i will be wearing for the day stuff at any rate) are sludgy green with purple lenses and therefore not such a pop, and by the time we're indoors i'll be peeshed past caring...

I'm not massively keen on IC either, have bought a pair in the past but only cos I have a thing for red shoes. Yours are the nicest I've seen in a while.

i dunno, i was just guessing because schuh are based in livvie as well. i suppose it would be a smart way for them to sell of very limited stock, though. haven't got shoes yet, wore dress with silver shoes last night which was okaaaay, but that zip is really yellowy gold so am glad i will have others. the green bag, however, did look rather awesome with the specs, it turned them into jewellery in a weird way. i'm not just fussing about the specs, btw, they seriously, seriously are the greenest specs i have ever seen.

as were at a WONDERFUL concert last night in the Royal Concert Hall and i even picked up a couple of sale bargains in Hobbs on the way past while Dh browsed in the apple shop. perfect evening

macy sandaltop row and a pair of two tone brown and cream shoes that i cant find on the website

suspect i might end up returning the sandals as they are a bit high for me. fortunately Hobbs give 28 days to return sale itmes ( please take a note other retailers) as i bought them in 5 mins flat as they were closing

yep. got them today and they are TERRIBLE. lovely to look at (although whoever said the pink was coral was correct) but the ankle strap quite literally cut my ankles within ten secs of having them on. basic bad design. i have rather nice slim ankles and there isn't enough room for them, god knows what would happen to a cankle...

What a shame, I thought they were pretty innovative looking shoes

nah, i had a party to go to on saturday so was hopig to get them in time for that, no joy. so i've got ten days to get new ones.
