In reference to a question by ltec the other day.

Stamp!

RedBlueRed · 05/06/2010 20:44

Good title Blossoming.

Marking the thread too!

traceybath · 05/06/2010 20:45

Esher - have just ordered that stripey maxi - it looks fab! Also loving the jacket - definitely want a leather jacket for this autumn as have worn my new look pleather one so much think I'll upgrade to the real thing - oooh get me with my fancy ways

Glad you looked good - and what a lovely evening for outside opera - was the opera good? Afraid I'm a bit of a philistine when it comes to classical music.

So does anyone know when the nap uk sale starts - must be soon if US already on.

Cain - good shopping!

MarshaBrady · 05/06/2010 20:51

Fresh thread!

CarciofiI'm sorry I kept thinking of your question when I wasn't near a computer, then forgetting! There isn't a code or anything on the email, but the woman said that I should put in my loyalty number. But I couldn't get it to work! I am going to Liberty on 24th June so can keep a look out for the Red Bag if you like

hellsbelles · 05/06/2010 21:10

marking thread as well.

Zembo · 05/06/2010 21:27

Esher did you order a tie dye maxi as well. I liked the look of it on the link but sold out now - what was it like irl?

Tracey which Belstaf are you after? the link you posted took me to a page full of the lovelies!

Cain where did you find the Hasbeens on sale? I missed the boat and really want some. Which colour did you go for?

LTEC your outfit for tonight is gorgeous - love the pink top and you might remember I've got the same Choos (which I love)

eshermummy · 05/06/2010 21:33

Tracey - I am wearing that maxi now and it got loads of (nice) comments today . you will need to take it up though - I managed to wear it today with some old wedge espadrille things I had but now I've taken them off and am in flats it's dragging on ground . Wanted to check for shrinkage on wash before cutting it though - will report back in due corse as to any shrinkage.

Jacket lovely, lovely buttery soft leather and utterly barginous at that price. Has got wiring through the edges/cuffs/collar (like the All Saints ones) for max styling/posing potential . Sizing quite generous - I got an 8 but think there will be plenty of room for a thin sweater under come A/W.
I did see a lovely leather jacket in comptoir the other day - sort of faded at the seams like denim would be iyswim but in grey leather but it was £££ and I think Verity and others had bad experiences with comtpoir leather .

eshermummy · 05/06/2010 21:41

Zembo - yes, I ordered the pearl tiedye maxi - it's the same brand as the stripey one but the sizing seems totally different - I ordered an 8 and it was absolutely huge, literally hanging off me whereas the size 8 stripey one fitted perfectly . I think it could have looked very nice, I did like the print (although it did smell funny, like the DP one, it must be the chemicals they use when they dye it?) but it was too big to tell really.
I'm going to be sending it back so maybe worth a punt (can't remember what size you are) but the one I am sending back is more like a 10-12???

RedBlueRed · 05/06/2010 22:05

Zembo here not a lot of size options left though.

I went for the braided chocolate ones, I like the style of the cognac ones but they are too orange for me.

RedBlueRed · 05/06/2010 22:07

found these also but only in a 4.

RedBlueRed · 05/06/2010 22:12

No it was the silver ones I found in limited sizes, can't seem to find the link now, will have another go if anyone is interested.

OllieWollieWoo · 05/06/2010 22:13

Marking my place too. Had our first BBQ of the summer this evening and just been round at some lovely neighbours for drinks. I love it when its warm outside in the evenings and you can stay out - feels all holiday like!
Outfit sounds lovely LTEC - love the top, great colour. Maxi v nice too Esher. Enjoy tomorrow Blossoming, what cute outfit is DD wearing???
DH starts new job on 1st July and has just been told its an 'away day' with his department - and partners are expected to attend! Yikes! Don't mind doing the whole corporate hobknobbing thing but usually have some background info on who I'll be meeting and DH and I will know no-one! Plus details are v vague as to what sort of day it will be other than its a day and evening event - so inducing lots of wardrobe stress for me!!! Will keep you informed!

Zembo · 05/06/2010 22:18

Thanks for the feedback Esher - I'm a size 8 so sounds like it would be huge on me too.The leather jacket/shirt looks great though and am tempted to order it to try on (always a fatal move )

Cain its the sky high peep toe ones that I want but not available in my size (anywhere ..never mind, just need to be faster off the mark next time!

RedBlueRed · 05/06/2010 22:25

I really fancied the sky high peep toe ones too (I was even tempted by red) but I love the braided and will probaly get more wear out of them - even at work perhaps.

Fleecy · 05/06/2010 22:50

Helloooo, had lots of fun seeing Footloose. Wish I could really sing and dance!

tracey my Dad was a successful classical musician throughout the 60s and 70s - we listened to nothing else when I was growing up because my parents don't do contemporary music. Despite this, I still know absolutely nothing about it. So don't feel like a philistine!

Loving the stripey maxi. And LTEC bet you look fab tonight. Hope you're having a good one!

hells am also keen to receive regular updates on your diet. My book arrived today so I'm going to try to read it over the coming week then get a very meaty shop in...

Gah - have forgotten too much from the old thread. Apologies if I've missed anyone. Night all!

hellsbelles · 05/06/2010 22:58

zembo - what size are you after in the hasbeens?

I can't remember all from the other bits from the last thread (tired brain!)...but:

Tracey - I linked you a hayfever rememdy on the other thread...I've heard good things about it. May be worth a go?

LTEC - I bet you get tons of compliments. You will be the most stylish and beautiful person there.

Esher - fab haul. The jacket is such a great deal and looks like it should be ££££...and the dress is lovely - very jealous as I can't do ones without proper bras (rather than strapless). Not sure if you saw my previous post but I did debut the Emily & Fin (to great praise!) but I did wear a white vest top underneath (so agree crop one is a good plan).

Durkan Diet update (for all those interested). I am without scales today (away from home) so I have no idea if I've lost a decent amount. But it really is so easy. I'm not hungry at all....it's incredibly simple to prepare stuff as you only have one element to a meal usually (meat or fish). I also have a lot of energy (which I suspect is due to no alcohol). It's only today that I have suddenly longed for the taste of fresh vegtables...but I can certainly do another day on the strict bit. I'm going to weigh t/m pm and see if I've lost enough to go to the next phase.

AllBuggiedOut · 05/06/2010 23:10

Presume those of you after hasbeens have tried here?

RedBlueRed · 05/06/2010 23:36

ABO unfortunately the shipping costs double the price. I wasn't prepared to pay that much!

tethersend · 05/06/2010 23:46

Can I join you lovely ladies?

Have you had a look here for hasbeenalikes?

RedBlueRed · 05/06/2010 23:52

Hi Tethersend I love the 'create your own'! Could have some fun there.

AllBuggiedOut · 06/06/2010 00:11

Shipping on the hasbeens is 26 euros from the Swedish site... Makes the peep toe super high (for example) around £150. I paid £130 for mine from Asos. HTH!

AllBuggiedOut · 06/06/2010 00:16

Ooh, shouldn't have started looking again; really like the silver braided sky high Are the design your own ones cheaper?

RedBlueRed · 06/06/2010 00:34

Ah yes, I stand corrected. I was converting from $ at one point and gave up when customs etc were mentioned.
Hmmm interesting, now I have to decide if I am happy with my chocolate choice or if I want something else.
Having too much choice isn't always a good thing for me

hf128219 · 06/06/2010 05:53

Morning all. Just marking my place!

Zembo · 06/06/2010 06:23

Morning! Thanks for all the Hasbeens info - most sizes and colours are sold out on the Sweedish site (for the sky high peep toes anyway) I probably need a 35.5 as normally a 36. There are some silver braided ones available in 35 but I reckon they'd be too small. So, I think I'll just give up!

Cake hope you had a fab night out and OWW sounds like you had a lovely evening too - love warm evenings
