Dolcee - Hmm, I think you are right about low cut and cleavage. However, I would still feel self-conscious about the top gaping when I don't keep my back straight enough. I am sure it looks great on you though and the model on the WC isn't exactly big-busted either.

monkeysmama - Hi there, I'm new here. Your holiday sounds great but your journey must have been a nightmare. DD threw up on the tube once and that was bad enough I thought.

DH has just announced that he probably has to work all of next week during our holiday. As we are staying on a farm with rather rustic accommodation (i.e. no Internet access or fax), he will have to stay here to go to the office. So it will only be DD and me (and the cows, chickens and pigs). I am not even angry (like I used to) only a bit sad. Don't know if that's a good thing or a bit worrying...

Very impressed with the curtain making Roman, I missed out on the crafty gene. My mum is a fantastic knitter and is very good at sewing and arty, but it missed me out.
Agree re Brad MM I think he's quite simian like. As for Angelina! Somebody give that woman a bag of chips! Think she's v pretty, but far too scrawny at the mo in Cougar town. Have the dark hair and blue eyes, so if I had a really good makeover...Well I can dream. Think Elle McPherson looks fabulous as well. Now there's a woman who can pull off a good school run look. But I'd have to be a foot taller, blonde, etc, etc. Think I linked to a dress for you MM. Carciofi the good news is that you can't apply for schools here until the year ie the January before they start in September. In Sutton there's the Burrow, and St. Fintans, and in Howth there's St. Mary's. They are all the public schools. There is only one private school Sutton Park. In Clontarf there is Belgrove national school girls and boys. Again, you have to apply in the January. If you like I can email you (think you put up an email earlier, but don't know if it's a short term one)

My DS said to me the other day after a particularly trying evening (code for lots of shoutey behaviour) "you hate me". I sighed and said "No, I don't, I love you, even when you're bold I love you, sure if I didn't love you I'd kill you"(!) Classic Irish humour. (Hope I don't offend anyone) To which my DD (6) said, "well if you did, you'd go to jail....(pause) and daddy would marry someone else" I said "daddy would never find anyone as nice as mummy" to which she replied "oh yes he would...... and prettier......(pause for even greater effect) ......you're not pretty......not.even.with.makeup" (Ouch!) From the mouths of babes!

Wouldn't mind Megan Foxs body- some curves but not too out of control. Also think Elle Macpherson is annoyingly fab.

If I could look like anyone, it would be Grace Kelly. Boring but true. Classic beauty. If it had to me someone alive today, Rachel Weisz or Cate Blanchett are both truly beautiful but very different, so would be a tough decision.

Re Jen Aniston, I was only saying because she never wears a bra and they're so pert. At 41, come on! My boobs are on the small side but I would never not wear a bra.

I would like to look like Penelope Cruz. Completely deluded obviously, maybe Courtney Cox. My mum used to say, before I got the fringe that I looked like Catherine Zeta Jones. Probably the only celeb she knows of though!

Was it this draped dress which I will be wearing this Friday to go to Glyndebourne? Wracking my brain to think of draped dresses we have linked to - was it the mint velvet one or the All Saints Layla?

Managed to take back whistles sale items and swapped them for some washed silk harem-ish trousers (not on website). Think they will look nice with plain tank/vest tucked in and glad heels. I can't really do the skinny combats or preppy chinos thing - have tried but it doesn't work for me so am going to work harems as my alternative to jeans.

I just struggle up to an A cup and can go braless at 38. I don't often though as I feel I need a bit if padding to balance out the hips. If she does a lot of exercise , hasn't had kids and doesn't have big boobs, then I think you could look like that naturally. If you do a fair amount of upper body exercise then that will 'lift' smaller boobs, making them look more pert.

LTEC - forgot to say. very kind of you to be discreet but 'tis fine. Was 10st1 at last weigh in a couple of weeks ago so prob 10st now. Would like 9st7 but need to be careful as I'm narrow across the shoulders with slim arms, long legs and a short torso so if I'm too thin, I look like a daddy long legs. Some way to go before that happens, I hasten to add, but nice to have a healthy margin away from insect-ness

Funnily enough i am considering going bra-less in the KM dress I linked to above for Glyndo. It has a very deep V back which shows a bit of bra strap and spoils it. The front is draped so you don't get a clear outline of boobs and I am only a 32B/C so not too much jiggle but it just feels so strange as I never go without bra as boobs are def going a bit south

Esher - I didn't even wear a bra under my wedding gown as it had a really deep back (although that was almost 11 years ago). One of my friends raves about "breast lift tape" when going braless, similar to this. Have never tried it myself as I would panic that it comes off, sticks to my dress or that my skin would have an allergic reaction. Has anyone here ever tried it?
