Forgot to say, MrsJuan how old is your dd? I can really sympathise with the lack of sleep. Dd is 23 mo and has slept thru less than 20 times. It never stops being a nightmare. I can't get used to it.

RedBlueRed · 13/04/2010 16:14

You are welcome AllbuggiedOut.

Outnet looks like an interesting site LTEC, what are the rules? And what is the significance of Friday?

mrsjuan · 13/04/2010 16:23

She's nearly 11 months. I did think she'd be a bit better by now but it seems not. You have my sympathies - nearly 2 years . tbh I have sort of got used to it and can manage on far less sleep than I used to be able to but the odd night when she does sleep well I feel like a different person the next day.
DH is starting to mention CC but it just doesn't feel right especially when you can't be sure what's going on teeth and comfort wise.

LetThemEatCake · 13/04/2010 16:46

right I have just 'spent' about £3000 and it is beginning to feel a bit obscene. Plus, I need to go and sort dinner So, bear in mind this is all based on being able to buy all of these items for £1 each.

plain but useful, like the colour

simple, like it

idea of wearing yellow in a dull winter, love it

would feel like a seal. So sleek!!

looks like would be easy and flattering

easy
the sleeves are a bit of a foofy step too far but I love love love the colour and print

not 100% but for a quid I'm willing to give it a go

looks a bit Primarni and we all know I heart a bit of that

have loved this forever

simple, like it0

Mrsjuan I know people have different views on the subject, but I would recommend just not getting up - which worked a treat after just one awful night of screeching with each of mine. You can't do it once they can talk and actually wail 'muuuummmmmeeeee, heeeellllppp meeee' etc, so your time margin is getting quite small.

cain outnet is net-a-porter's discount site. Their sale (on friday) is the online equivalent of getting elbowed trying to buy the super-cheap plasma tv on the 1st day of the harrods sale.

LetThemEatCake · 13/04/2010 16:48

not quite sure why the american retro has appeared x4. I don't like it that much!!

OP posts:
traceybath · 13/04/2010 16:54

Please outnet

LetThemEatCake · 13/04/2010 16:55

LOL tracey that's in my shopping bag too but I was too embarrassed to link it as I'd already listed so much!!

So when do we think the outnet sale will start? And do we think a lot of the current stuff will be included or is it going to be a bunch of random stuff.

I have to leave the house at 9.15am for dentists and won't be home until after lunch - oh its just going to be really hideous isn't it.

Choo - was just going to order your stripey jigsaw top in red and its sold out already!

RedBlueRed · 13/04/2010 17:35

I love that tie dye top LTEC.
My outnet wish list - bit of magpie-ing...

RedBlueRed · 13/04/2010 17:36

Something didn't work on my last one, try again.

I might!

traceybath · 13/04/2010 17:59

Cain - I love that chloe silk navy top too - very pretty indeed.

Right DH too busy to watch dc's whilst I go to dentist - so means I can obsess on the outnet site and end up getting very cross as there'll be one thing I want and the site will crash many times.

Choo - Have ordered jigsaw top from westbourne grove store - must say the staff in jigsaw are super helpful even on the phone.

And why is it as soon as something is a little harder to get hold of - you just want it even more?

Interestingly the lady I spoke too said they've got a new designer doing jigsaw and they're producing a lot less of each item as past seasons didn't sell well.

LTEC - that cavalli top is gorgeous.

CHOOGIRL · 13/04/2010 18:19

Just quickly ladies as at work. You will only be able to buy ONE item for £1 at the outnet.

Will check links tonight when I get home.

Fel1x · 13/04/2010 18:45

Whats the deal with the outnet sale on Friday? Do you need to be invited to it? Or need to be a current customer?

I am tempted to ahve a look and see if I can snap up a 1pound bargain!! (can you just pick any 1 item and buy it for a pound???)

Took DS1 to docs and he does have ear infection but is feeling slightly better now all medicated up! Hopefully a better nights sleep tonight all round!

RedBlueRed · 13/04/2010 18:47

I do not have a single item of clothing I could possibly wear these with nor an occasion suitable but...

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways

I could just keep them in their box and get them out occasionally to sniff?

Fel1x · 13/04/2010 18:49

out of all your links I love the tie dye top and really love traceys bag!!

traceybath · 13/04/2010 18:56

Fel1x - you just had to rsvp to the sale email or it was on the homepage and the sale then starts sometime on friday.

You can then purchase one item for a £1.

But we don't know when it starts or what exactly will be in it.

And their last sale which was nowhere as heavily advertised caused the site to cease up for ages.

I suspect it will be very stressful (well as stressful as sale shopping is) but we'll persevere on the off chance of getting a pair of Choos for £1.

Fel1x · 13/04/2010 19:00

What do you all think of...

these cuff bottom jeans
linen blazer
cage style shoes

Fel1x · 13/04/2010 19:06

Thanks Tracey, I wasnt registered to receive emails from them and just checked there now and there is nothing on the homepage to allow you to register for the sale, so looks like I missed the boat this time!
Have signed up for emails though so next time will join in fingers crossed!

notyummy · 13/04/2010 19:12

Just lusting after all these links and sulking slightly - I am sure I signed up to the outnet - but no invite.

Having said that, I am off to Scotland with dd tomorrow eveing so wouldn't be able to hang around a computer on Friday anyway!

Good luck all!

cain I think those white boots win the price as possibly the least practical item every linked to thus far on this thread.

Fel1x · 13/04/2010 19:16

My outnet wishlist....

love these shoes

grey bag

mini dress

strawberry pendant

knit tee

sunglasses

Tracey - Barbour one is nice ...thanks

bunnymother · 13/04/2010 21:40

Thanks for all the links to tan bags, much appreciated! Am thinking that of all the links, I should go to Oasis and see their bags. Unless I find an extra £300 on my way, in which case I would buy this nude Chloe hobo bag as I LOVE it. Although imagine my meltdown when Delie drags it along on the floor... At our local playground (Holland Park) there was a v yummy mummy w a tan Birkin which also looked fab, so if I find an extra £3000 then perhaps I would just get that instead .

And in all this linking frenzy, also saw these v cool fringed sandals that look lush.

MrsJuan - Delie is 10 months' old and also waking a bit every now and then, but in her case it is for dummy and occasionally when another tooth is cutting through. She is in her own room and I have taken to taking longer to go to her, and she does sometimes make the effort to actually reach out and get the dummy (usually right in front of her mouth) and put it back in. Hope your LO's sleeping improves, its the shittest part of parenting IMO. Absolute soul destroying torture.
