Ladies, welcome to Spring

ltec DH and I have been together 10 years today - there was obviously something in the air Feb '00

bunny dancing is good for tummies. Mine is slowly disappearing thanks to 2 body jam classes each week. They seem to have a fair bit of salsa type stuff in each release and I think this is fab for toning up tums as your hips are constantly twisting around! So if you have salsa or body jam near you...

OK, another quick post before making dinner...

DH and I have also been together 10 years in April - what a year 2000 was!

Thanks for the dancing tip, Fleecy. Am looking forward to finishing having babies as then can get figure back once and for all. Currently TTC to a bit at the thought of expanding again.

GeorginaWorsley · 12/02/2010 18:31

PCPLUM
Is it sunny there??I iosted earlier,we are flying out on sunday but forecast is not great, says rain showers monday and tuesday
can you reassure me,please???

Fleecy · 12/02/2010 18:36

yesterday I was saying no to the clogs but today am loving the Ugg ones. Flat ones still a step to far for me but I'm very shallow so no doubt I will succumb shortly!

Belly dancing - wow! I'm not co-ordinated or flexible so doing the class has been an eye-opener for me, didn't realise I could do it - but not sure I could possibly manage belly dancing! I'm also same weight but different shape. Boobs bigger and arms toned (yay!) but flabby belly and tops of thighs (boo!)

Wouldn't go back though

We might also be TTC after our hols in Sept - but I have to be bikini ready first!

Tracey, glad you like the jeans. I am wearing mine again today.

I sent back the By Malene Birger top and cardigan from My-Wardrobe, it was too flowy on me. Thinking of getting this instead. I love the Splendid tees. I didn't see the Ugg clogs, will have another look now.

MM, hope you had a nice lunch, Georgina and Plum, have a great holiday, LTEC hope you feel better, and hi to everyone else!

PCPlumIsMyHomeboy · 12/02/2010 19:12

GW it's lovely here! Was cloudy this morning, but clear blue skies and hot/sunny by lunchtime. Have just watched a beautiful sunset. Forecast for tomorrow is great.

We have had one day when it rained, but only for about 2 hours in the morning, and it was still hot hot hot!

Get your bikini on, girl, it's going to be fine!

PCPlumIsMyHomeboy · 12/02/2010 19:35

and another thing...

re my so-called stylish home/DH, DH is hopeless, just dresses for comfort in jeans, tees and trainers, but will let me play dress up with him occasionally.

I'm very house-y though. We have just moved, so hav got a whole new place to shop for .

The house we have just sold is here

Fleecy · 12/02/2010 19:43

Wow katy that was quick! We didn't get married until 2003!

MM what did you wear in the end? Hope you enjoyed the lunch!

Fleecy · 12/02/2010 19:48

plum gorgeous house - if that's the old one, just how big is the new one?

bunnymother · 12/02/2010 19:57

Carciofi - beautiful print on the Antik Batik top. Really beautiful.

hellsbelles · 12/02/2010 19:59

goodness you lot make me feel old. DH and I have been together 15 years (but only married 9 so I guess that evens it out).

Plum - beautiful house!

red - meant to post loads earlier - am so sorry about your dress for your birthday - can you post a link to it so we can look for things in the same vein?

OP posts:
LetThemEatCake · 12/02/2010 20:25

bunny glad you are still here, was missing you! I remember you saying you'd seen AMQ, on the hen weekend a few weeks ago right?

I really think we have to arrange a meetup.

can I be contentious and say "UGH! NOoooooooo" to the Ugg clogs?

OP posts:
hellsbelles · 12/02/2010 20:27

you can say that LTEC - but I've got them so I shall block my ears They are so comfy. And they make my legs look slimmer because of their bulkiness and general ugliness!

dexter73 · 12/02/2010 20:31

I feel even more old and married - I have been married for 15 years and have been with dh for 19 years. We started going out when I was 17!

LetThemEatCake · 12/02/2010 20:32

oh arse. Forgot you had them. Sorry.

well I am in no place to judge anyway, having sent my wellies back and told dh that I want these for V Day after all. I need all the leg slimming I can get.

DolceeBanana · 12/02/2010 20:34

Well....you guys...my DH and I met in 1989 (Do not - anyone- say that is your year of birth, pleeeease!)...and married in 1995...
We are old gits though!

Can I just say thank you so much to LTEC for starting this post...its the only thread I ever bother to look at now - and its lovely to get to know you all....we've got so much in common...One day, maybe, we could all manage a huge get together, before LTEC retreats to her beautiful country (P.S. What are you doing here woman???) Australia ...England...I know what I'd choose....ha ha!

dexter73 · 12/02/2010 20:38

Nice boots LTEC but then I do love an Ugg!

LetThemEatCake · 12/02/2010 20:38

Aw, DB I am loving this thread too, am so glad it has taken off in the way it has!!

Gave L another try on the food tonight, rice cereal this time .. a few grimaces but he ate the lot. Also got P&C eating enthusiastically when I encouraged them to show their baby bro how it's done .. clean plates all round!!

good lord, how old were you when you met?? 14??

dexter isn't it your birthday this weekend?

OP posts:
hellsbelles · 12/02/2010 20:41

LTEC no need to apologise. I do know they are ugly (isn't that where the name comes from? I think it is). I sort of like ugly stuff sometimes (I'm a bit strange)

DolceeBanana · 12/02/2010 20:44

Wow...well done on baby weaning - first attempt !!! Good idea on getting big Sis and Bro to 'demonstrate'...Funny how we can sometimes manipulate things 'our' way for a change...

You flatterer! I was actually, 20, when I met DH...so had the double whammy last year of being 40 and pg with DC3 - soooo not a good feeling....I mean, I had a lovely day, nice pressies etc. but when you feel fat and frumpy it's not the same!!! Anyway, I am going to make up for it this year with a 41 and fabulous party for my bday!!!!

GeorginaWorsley · 12/02/2010 20:44

plum....thankyou for that!
I always make the mistake of checking weather forecasts before holidays then become depressed, only for it all to be ok in the end!
If you are aaround tomorrow, could you update me??
We fly sunday and are staying in villa in Playa Blanca.
Dolcee,I love this thread too!
