flame:
MI: That's what you tell DH. I bet you keep more than one.

JackieNo · 10/06/2009 19:24

YOu could make your own necklace to go with it .

missblythe · 10/06/2009 19:29

Well, on MY shoulders it fits quite neatly, and I have fairly small shoulders.

It is quite a weighty fabric-not light enough for a really summery day, IMO, but ideal for a not-too-hot day, like we're having at the moment. I've had mine since early April, wore it at lot with legging/boots/jacket, and will wear it like that in the Autumn too.

Quite fancy the green too...

fishie · 10/06/2009 19:35

and what size are you missb? what size dress have you got?

i am thinking send for 2 x m in green and navy and one pessimistic large in navy.

hoxtonchick · 10/06/2009 19:42

am going to try on in ox st next week i think. report back in the meantime please maccy.

MacaroonIncident · 10/06/2009 19:50

lol at scarf - is that a old t hsirt?

Jewelsandgems · 10/06/2009 19:51

That is a really nice dress! And since I have never bought anything from Wallis, I was very surprised.

Size-wise, another question; I am usually a 10, would I order the M or S?

JackieNo · 10/06/2009 19:52

Yes, you just cut it into strips, and give them a pull, and they kind of roll in on themselves, apparently. Has to be a t-shirt with no side seams.

fishie · 10/06/2009 20:04

you i think the s jewels. esp if i am considering a medium - have a look at the body measurements, they are on the generous side.

missblythe · 10/06/2009 20:19

I'm a 12, and have the M. Would say it is a bit roomy on me

For you, Jewels, def. go for a S.

MacaroonIncident · 10/06/2009 20:20

thank god have ordered the m now

fishie · 10/06/2009 20:23

yy def m for you. i am torn. hey did those uniqlo trousers fit?

might try to visit shop tomorrow as part of long trudge to station - tube strike refugees are on my sodding bus.

MacaroonIncident · 10/06/2009 20:24

oh i bottled the trousers in the end

tbh it better get warm pronto or is all a waste of £

fishie · 10/06/2009 20:41

mine do make muffin, which is ok with strategic top but i am wary of judgy team. one of them is 22 ffs.

Fimbo · 11/06/2009 09:38

ComeOVeneer · 11/06/2009 10:45

called "fugs"
Oops!

fishie · 11/06/2009 11:09

aha mac, my sister has visited the shop and drooled over dresses (i have no idea why she didn't tell me abuot them).

she says they are nicely cut and plain but on the large side. if you have time you could ring wallis and cancel the first three...?

HaventSleptForAYear · 11/06/2009 12:17

I agree it looks nice but short...

I am having the too-short dilemma with a dress I bought recently which is still hanging in all its glory in my wardrobe with tags on.

Hope it's not destined for ebay.

Still not braved the leggings under dress look and by the time I get round to it, it will be too late (age-wise or fashion-wise).

Tortington · 11/06/2009 12:23

i think it looks like something they would make you wear in prison.

fishie · 11/06/2009 12:33

it really is ideal for me then custy, dh calls my style 'serf-wear' as i am usually attired as medieval peasant.

MacaroonIncident · 11/06/2009 13:09

SNort
any one got one yet?
