Not entirely sure you can hold Michelle Obama up as an icon of style in whatever god awful thing she's wearing in that photo.

It just bugs me that this is what women - fucking sensible, intelligent, thoughtful women - decide to do to other women - slag off their clothes and the fact that -oh my god - she doesn't do enough sit-ups. Why not critique what she does? And if you don't think she does anything, talk about why or why not.

I think she looks absolutely fine and suitably dressed and her figure is fine. Michelle, much as I love her, looks like she's going to a picnic on Happy Days.

Admittedly that does not appear to be the most flattering of skirts. However it could be that angle at which the photo was taken. Normally she dresses apppropriately - she isnt flash.

there's nothing wrong with Sarah Brown's outfit although it is a size too small. She must be dreadfully uncomfortable in it.

I think her outfit is unflattering - I wouldnt go as far to say she has a great big belly but I would say that she doesnt carry that style of dress well.

She is not a fashion model ......I think, she is a great wife and a mother who looks perfectly presentable and represnt a lot of us .

I'd much prefer to have a PM's wife with a "great big belly" (bolleaux to that though, she is just a normal woman) who looks like she has common sense and empathy with us mere mortals to some egocentric ex-clothes horse rake who used to shag married rockstars, then moved on to married politicians and inflicts her breathy "music" on the world.
