It's fine as a set if you want a Dyson hairdryer I just don't understand why it needed to be an advent calendar. 😂 I have one and really like it. Mine has the diffuser attachment that this doesn't have though.

I’ve decided not to collect the JLFAC from Waitrose so it will automatically refund. I bought a bottle of the BDK Gris Charnel off Vinted which was the only one I really wanted to try. I’ll remain in the minority as someone who loves Carnal Flower 😂

Yeah my hairdryer is Covid age, GHD air gift set with straighteners. It’s still going strong. But I don’t think I’d otherwise be interested in a hairdryer set. As Ova said why isn’t it just a gift set in a nice box. This is my hairdryer, lovely large blue vanity box that still looks great despite the arrival of little people! I like that the hairdryer is a travel one, think it will be good for aforementioned little people as I’ve heard it’s really quiet.

I've actually just cancelled my LF BAC order as the delay is completely unacceptable and I already had buyers remorse.

Now I'm deciding between the YOU and ASOS BACs for my teen. Are there any discount codes that work on YOU? I'm probably going to get Glossybox for my mum if it's not sold out yet, although I'm annoying that TikTok doesn't offer me any of the discount codes it appears to offer others 🤷‍♀️

BT ordered. My friend was happy to pick up via click and collect and bring over (she commutes weekly) but I couldn’t get that to work as an option with the sterling price. I decided that the welcome discount code will hopefully offset the parcel flow charges. Fingers crossed. And baa 🐑!!!

Inspired by you I've just done the same. I think it's a good BAC and there's a few things I'd like from it but I've bought ahem...a few other things since I placed this order and I'm feeling like it's not very justifiable despite being at the more affordable end of advents.

Thanks @keepincool but I have decided to take the whole thing back and take my chances at the counter.

I think there were one or two perfumes I sprayed today that I quite liked, but the effect of all the over-spraying has brought on a return of my asthma symptoms so I am getting rid of the whole lot.

@nearly61 - I took a beauty gift set back once to JL that I had bought online and they told me beauty products were non-returnable for hygiene reasons if opened. I pointed out that I hadn’t opened anything and it wasn’t my fault that there was no security seal on the packaging. I got my refund eventually, but it was hard work.

However, I am reasonably confident that I will get a refund on the FAC if I open the outer packaging in front of the staff. It would be the height of unreasonable behaviour if they refused. Hopefully I would also get my £40 e-gift card refunded too as I don’t want to lose it. The only reason I bought the FAC was because I could get £40 off, (but it’s still annoying me that I could have paid £10 less if I had waited another few hours for my Rewards to load!)

Im waiting for a Glossybox discount. I refuse to buy it before that and if it sells out it will sell out. Im not that super bothered about it for 90 pounds. I like the Milk Orchid and the towel lol.

I also cancelled my LF. If they would ship it out on the 2nd it would be hitting my pick up point when im on a holiday. Cant be bothered with it being shipped back, waiting for money etc..

What is up with all these companies not managing the pre orders correctly.

Ill get the LF in november if Im still bothered. I can get the products I wanted from it during sales anyway.

I had the of grooming ac delivered yesterday. I opened it to check the contents and 2 drawers contained the same product and the aftershave was missing. I contacted cs and they offered me £3.33 discount so I’m returning it for a full refund. The calendar was for DS and the aftershave was one of the better products. Are there any other calendars out there similar?

I am tempted to buy Brown Thomas advent with the lame excuse not to miss out and I have 17 euro 😅 points. I know others want it so I may as well - I still have not bought any advent calendars. Le labo 33 is actually putting me off - I binned 3 travel size recently.

Depending where you are they might be able to? I had the option of exporting or collecting at a later when in London. Unfortunately I am not going to London until next February:(

The BAC dropped just after 8am. I've seen the rumours but I don't know where they've come from. At least the October 1st rumours seem to have come from people who have actually spoken to the assistants.

I've ordered this one as it's amazing value and there are a few things I've wanted to try, along with ones I've had before and like. I saw it on Beauty Detective last night and thought it said StyleKorean on the box, so was intrigued.

Looks to be selling fast this morning, so I wouldn't hang around if you're tempted!

I also really loved Carnel Flower, and Tubereuse Astral. Haven't tried Gris Charnel but fingers crossed!
