My Elle advent has just arrived - definitely wins the award for the sturdiest box. I've decanted what I can into my Harrods/CB hybrid, so it now looks like a particularly generous Frankenstein!

That is definitely me done now. I have a ridiculous number of products and won't need to buy anything for months! Except for something from CB to use my voucher/points and something from SNK to get my deluxe birthday gift. But then that really is it!

Any guesses when Selfridges will sell out please?

Is there a Rhode product in the Liberty box causing a problem?

Yes this is what happened with mine, as well as the Gucci gloss leaking! It took nearly 2 weeks tooing and groping to get resolved, not great! I haven’t checked my nars, must do that.
my Elle calendar arrived today and no issues at all! Box is beautiful and most products are boxed, following on from
ours discussion yesterday where many aren’t! Checked dates on a few things including Murad and all ok. Listed what I don’t want on Vinted, I’m planning on just keeping a few things as top ups, giving some
to ds and his girlfriend as stocking fillers and selling the rest (hair stuff, fragrance, magic cream etc) that I won’t use. Good value for the money and excited about a few products!

Thanks for the customs info @AppleDumplingWithCustard - I think I will be giving the a/c a miss anyway as they are not revealing any products. I am not wrestling with the rest of the internet trying to buy something when I don’t even know what is in it! (I may change my mind if they actually reveal the products prior to launch.)

The big reveal they proudly emailed to me yesterday was that the a/c will cost about £175. Why SKC thought this was exciting news is anyone’s guess 🤷‍♀️

My Sephora AC arrived. Not sure when I'll have time to go through it. Soon hopefully but maybe not until the weekend.

I’ve just bought the Elle calendar to go with SNK. I think it’s a great range of products. It’s definitely retail therapy for me after a horrible year. Maybe I’ll stop at 2 but maybe not.

I have a StyleKorean basket full of KBeauty stuff atm. I don’t need any of it, but there are some things I would like to try.

My dilemma is: Shall I order it and give it to DH to put into an a/c for me?

Or should I hold fire and see if StyleKorean
a) Come up with a brilliant calendar and
b) I can get my hands on it and
c) It’s under £135?

I think the odds on a, b and c all happening are slim to none!

Another reason for holding off - I may still crack and order Harrods - I can’t do both!

Any thoughts?

On the subject of Harrods:

Could any of you who have bought the HBAC bear to check a few expiry dates of a few products and then share them on here?

I completely understand if you’d rather not, but I would like some reassurance if possible that Harrods are not pulling a Liberty!

Same here, I spent a good few minutes reading, clicking and re-opening the email only to see the "reveal" was the price! Puts me off with all these shenanigans!

Does anyone remember which time the Selfridges Bac went on sale? Was it before 8 AM or 10 AM ish?

They might release the fragrance advent on the same time so was just wondering. Just checked my diary and I have a hospital appointment on the 1st at 9AM (8 uk time).

Shiseido was manufactured in November 25 so all good, Cle de Peau October 25, Nars December 24,. Couldn’t find La Prairie ( or a few others) on the checker I used sorry and I sold the Sisley lipstick! The eye cream only came out in 25 I believe so should be ok, sorry got overexcited, got the calendar out, checked what I could and put it away!! Hope this helps though, seem pretty new to me
