It had been a manic week and I haven't been able to keep up with the thread, so I hope everyone is well. I am still hacked off that I dithered on the LF FAC snd watched it go out of stock.

I've woken up this morning and looked at Harrods. Why have I never realised what a good buy the 12 days of hair and body one is? It's so pretty, too. And has 18 products. I've stuck it in my basket, but at £99 I'm now looking for something to add to take it to over the hundred quid for free delivery. Trying to find something inexpensive, but then my eyes landed upon Lancome's adventurous eye shadow palette. Hmm....

On the subject of out of date skincare, yes, I have been burned too. They can range from losing their scent (Neals Yard frankincense cream loses the frankincense scent quickly) to smelling rank / off. I opened a grown alchemist cream this week and it smells abdolutely gross. It's less than 12 months old but I need to scan it for a manufacture date.

Same here . I love my Liberty AC it’s a thing of beauty . I’ve smelt a few of the fragrances and they are much nicer than expected . The one that surprised me most was Fugazzi Angel Dust , I thought it would be a soft cashmere type scent but it’s more of a soft Oud . I hate Oud but on dry down it’s actually very wearable .

Oh god , is BACaholism a thing? Ive ordered a few now, was not going to get JL but now tempted.

In my defense I will sell a lot to justify the cost of these but yes, my name is Rainbows and I'm definitely a BACaholic.

I think that expensive calendars containing makeup should have two versions that you can pick from; one with bold make-up i.e. red/ dark lipsticks and one with more subtle shades. Seeing bright colours puts me off buying them.

Me too , I can’t wear anything remotely red so would avoid , in fact none of my friends wear red lipstick so I couldn’t easily gift them either . Garish colours always put me off tbh .

I got home late last night and both my Harrods calendars were waiting for me. DH suggested we go straight to bed but I couldn’t leave them in the box until morning so opened both and might have had a little look in some of the boxes! 😁 Everything seems present and correct - now I need to put them out of sight to stop myself delving into them daily!

@pinkchampagne1 I'm really having to fight the urge to open all the Harrods fragrances, especially those that I've not smelt before. I plan to start opening mine next month so it's not long to wait, but still too long 🤣

@CinderellaParker I’m not a fan of Fugazzi Pomegranoudh either, very medicinal.
Is anyone else disappointed by the cult beauty BAC box? I don’t know if it’s because I’m comparing it to my liberty one but it just seems cheap. I’ve never had CB before, always had Liberty as my main then a couple of the cheaper ones like GB or LF. I’m tempted to combine the Liberty and CB one so I don’t have to look at the box.

Has anyone finished all the items from the calendars from last year? I am using the Votary sensitive resurfacing peel and Shiseido total cream at the moment and my skin is really smooth and feels plumper.

I had 3 unopened Bacs under my bed a 6 weeks ago, I went through them and sold what I didn't want, everything I kept has gone into another box 🙈 so no, I've got a ton of stuff and probably shouldn't be buying Bacs this year 🤭 Maybe if my CB bac gets cancelled, I shouldn't rebuy 🤔

Not that particular one but I wore Fugazzi Passionfroudh and a friend immediately went 'hospital ward cleaning'. Once I got that into my head, couldn't unsmell it - so had to give it away, Doesn't happen with all Fugazzi scents. I have a sample of Pomegranoudh somewhere so will have to try it.

Ive heard it is similar to Zara blackberry oud and made by the same perfumer. I love that one. I have a travel size I was deliberating whether to sell or try so may have to try it now.
