CB advent arrived. Havent checked it yet though, but the more I look at the options available, all a bit underwhelming I think it gives me the best value. I know it's DoD for most, but the PK Elasticizer is a holy grail product for my hair I would have loved for some to have been included.

@OvaHere I'm intrigued about this mirror, I hope your dressing table looks fabulous with it!

Today I will receive 1) the perfume I ordered from Look Fantastic that was to prevent me from buying the Boots scent advent (worked so far) and 2) the Cult Beauty advent that I was definitely not going to order... Oops.

I tried a perfume sample of Givenchy Irresistible yesterday and it's gorgeous, can I justify buying a bottle of that? What would Mildred say?

I have lots of sample/deluxe sized fragrances now and I need someone to come and catalogue them for me in groups of, I don't know how you'd categorise them, fragrance 'families' maybe? I could do it myself but actually realised I'm putting it off because the writing on the little bottles is so small. I really do need to go to the opticians.

There will be an abundance of them on Vinted for about 2 quid. You could probably get one for each drawer without breaking the bank! 😂

You could possibly subscribe to the boxes, get the 15% discount and then cancel the subscription? Don't know if that works though.

My HFAC is due to be delivered today. I need to decide what I'm keeping. I won't be listing until after my upcoming holiday though, so Vinted will be awash with perfumes by then. I may end up keeping it all as usual

Yes, good point, I'm not sure! CB customer service is the worst, so just hope it gets resolved.

My JL FAC has arrived and is lovely and compact. I have checked drawers with eyes closed and everything present and in tact so now will put it away until December! No dispatch email from CB after using the code but do have the £20 voucher which I suspect are auto sent. Really hope they do send it as despite not being too bothered originally I’ve looked at contents again and actually quite like it - but not at full price!

My Harrods BAC has arrived and the perfume is damaged. Not nearly as keen on the box as the Liberty one, doesn’t seem as robust but everything else is there, think I’ll sell both lipsticks and the Gucci gloss!

I'm not bashing the good drivers, my step dad is a delivery driver but regularly ends up having to go back out with the missed deliveries from the day before. He's too nice to say no.

I'm just hoping I can get my CB credit back quickly to reorder the special version. There's been no update with mine though, it's still showing as waiting for royal mail to collect.

In other news though, DPD have emailed to say that they're expecting my Harrods BAC that I reordered yesterday. I best get onto them about cancelling my pre-order BAC.

I had the same email for DDs CB BAC (paid with code and credit). Mine (full price) arrived about an hour ago followed by my Harrods BAC 30 mins later.

Both look lovely and all contents present and correct. Not so keen on the fugazzi fragrance in CB (too similar to JM pomegranate noir for my liking - I’m sure PN fans will love it though). Really liked the Harrods montale fragrance. Must put it all away now! Just need Elle to arrive and that’s me done. I hope.

Hopefully CB will honour the code on DDs BAC. If not, it will be the Boots luxe for her.

What a rollercoaster After initially rejected Cult Beauty pre launch. I ended up buying it because of the code and can’t miss a bargain yesterday. Had initial buyer regret Spent the evening deep diving it and decided I did want it after all . Woke this morning to no despatch and likely cancellation so big disappointment and now it looks like we are back on . Yay
I am really happy especially looking forward to the Medik8 , Allies of Skin and Westman Atelier mascara. There is a girl on TikTok who did a get ready with me usinf stuff in the Cult Beauty calendar who has also totally influenced me to give some of the make up stuff a go too. She also did one for SpaceNk

Argh I am sitting in Science musuem while my neighbour has received my selfridges bac,which was supposed to be delivered nest week.they have a yuppy dog so I dont trust it to be safe till Saturday. Had to reluctantly msg my partner to retrieve it.Also royal mail is trying to deliver JL parcel at my local post office for the last two days after it is closed at 2pm and msging me that no one is at home. Managed to redirect finally to my address.
