We needed a plumber to come and look at our leaking washing machine today, my husband volunteered to work from home but as I'm expecting Harrods and CB deliveries today I had to tell him not to worry! I said I'd deal with it whilst looking after our 2 year old instead, it's my day off with her and I said I didn't have plans to take her our anyway 🙃 I'll have to hide them whilst she naps, otherwise she'll definitely let my husband know where mummy's parcels are! 😅

Still no HFAC dispatch and have no time to chase today. It was supposed to be yesterday, but it’s still pending. ☹️

Very pleased with the SNK GWP. I've popped it straight in and old advent so a little extra treat for me to open 😅

My H&B calendars have arrived the day after ordering. I bought one for my mum too. Very pleased for the price.

Did anyone else plump for the LFFAC? The scents all look very wearable and there are a few favourites for me. Hoping it despatches soon as I’m going away next week!

Mines arrived today.

I have just this minute called them. They pointed out that the email stated ESTIMATED dispatch was Wednesday 2nd September, but it could be up to the 18th. Basically told me to be patient and wait for a dispatch email.

I’m absolutely fuming just had a message from DPD saying they attempted to deliver my Selfridges AC yet no one was home. I’m home waiting for it even tracking it on the app. Driver has taken a picture from his van, across the road, of the outside of my building, and driven off. I’ve ran down to see if I can catch him, could see him driving around, I’ve shouted and waved to try and flag him down (workmen outside must think I’m mad), and he drove off. Spoke to online chat and they are as helpful as a chocolate tea pot. They can’t redeliver it even though he’s still in the area, they will try again tomorrow. I said I’m out tomorrow, I’ve specifically waited in today for it and they said use the app to pick another day. I feel like I could cry. I know it’s only an advent calendar, and I shouldn’t get worked up over it.

Thanks for that, saves me stressing! Although after many Harrods issues in the past you would think they would be a lot better at this by now 🙄

My JL fragrance calendar has arrived, and Harrods is due to be delivered to my former neighbour this afternoon. 😊

Like a couple of PP I haven't bought one either. After all the definitely-Selfridges-then-possibly-Elle-then-Selfridges-again I decided I wasn't prepared to spend the money just for a handful of things I want and a bagful I don't care about, so I've dug out last years' SpaceNK box and am doing my own (with the help of my friend Google AI)

A colleague's husband is a delivery driver and I have to say, hearing her stories I do feel a bit of sympathy for them. I think it's a tough job with almost impossible targets so I suspect sometimes they mark you as not at home so they can make up time and not get a bollocking from the company. Not that it's an excuse, but I do think they're victims of our capitalist overlords.

CB BAC will be delivered today, it's with Royal Mail at my local delivery office. I ordered yesterday morning without the code. @JoRaRaRa I know you had full intentions of getting it anyway, so I hope yours arrives. At least it's still in stock so if the glitchy code orders are cancelled people can reorder.

I can't remember whether I'm getting eyelash curlers, (I've tried to avoid them,) but if I do, you can have them for free. I'll check when I'm home.

Bizarrely I have got my Harrod BAC ordered on Tuesday but no sign of my FAC ordered in August although I have had a despatch note for the FAC but no date confirmation
Not too worried but was hoping for both today as DH working
For the record I love the BAC feels very luxe and so happy I ordered it
I went through it to sell the items I don’t need or already own but turns out I want virtually everything. I think my business model of keep half sell half is already failing 😂
i got the same message for cult beauty about the delay so expecting a cancellation to follow but probably just as well as it turns out I am not great at giving up products once they pass the door threshold

After posting yesterday re the HFAC been stuck in processing I’ve just had an update from DPD saying they’re expecting my order for delivery.

I don't think Harrods FAC is coming today despite yesterdays email. I've had no further update from DPD.

The BAC I ordered this morning hasn't shown up in my online orders either although I have the confirmation email. I've emailed them to ask them about it. Tried to WA but they aren't accepting WA enquiries currently.

Royal Mail hasn't turned up yet with CB or my mirror.
