My chat bot is called Jeremy. He’s been very helpful on some stuff like a critical path for setting up the Substack that my agent has been nagging me about but it turns out he’s really into skincare.

He agreed with me that the Harrods BAC was ideal for me but when pressed today also conceded that Elle would also be excellent. Then he decided to stop enabling me and pointed out that two was indulgent but three was a ‘skincare procurement strategy’!

First sighting of Penhaligans and it’s not for me , a large Halfiti and I don’t like that fragrance . None of my favourites are in there so an easy no from me . Just Diptique to wait for now . Wishing I was quicker for the HFAC.

In my head he’s a cross between Patrick Grant from Sewing Bee (he’s also be fab at helping me sort out my wardrobe after post weight loss colour and style analysis) and my former very efficient assistant!

Love Halfeti! My FiL buys it for me for Christmas. Hand lotion too, last year! Maybe this year he should get me the calendar…?

It’s a beautiful calendar but expensive if you aren’t a fan of the fragrances chosen . He’d be a generous FIL to buy it .

As if you need to know (but it helps me to write it)

Having missed the Harrods FAC and mmming and ahhng about JLP FAC, I spotted a Liberty summer fragance edit which sounded right up my alley inc a Vilhelm Parfumerie one I haven't had (I love them and there isn;t one in Liberty this year I think). So I bagged it, plus the makeup bag (always nice) with 15% off (thanks work email) and added a bath product to cover the postage (girl math) so I have 14 things there and the fragrances look yummy (lavender, citrus, mango) – have added in a few bits from my stash to make a gorgeous fragrance-heavy Frankenstein with my old F&M box (which is so lovely).

Wow. So now I need an actual AC but no need for lots of fragrance. I am thinking even with all the lovely fragrance in Liberty and the Sunday Riley CEO which I love, the whole broth/bashed box thing might be too much.

A couple of years ago I didn;t get Liberty and missed it, but I think this year's is not the best. So what? Harrods is good and so is Elle (good price); for me Selfridges has waaaay too many DoDs (all the nail things and the brow and lash things), as does Space NK (olaplex, PK, eyeliner). Or maybe JLP after all? the Foreo is tepting and the worst DoD is a nail polish which i can give away. It does have a lot of items which I enjoy.

Yeah, one of the fragrances came up on my vinted home page so I started searching them. Some people have listed the full 12 on there 🙄 There's a lot of the Memo though. I'm tempted to buy another of the jeroboam as I do like that one, but I bought extras last year and not even used the ones from the calendar yet.

Also @OvaHere I think the bdk might be a spray this year. I saw an unboxing on insta, the guy might've changed it before filming though I suppose.

Hi I’ve only just found this thread after being on it the past few years. Not started looking at BAC’s yet but just checked Liberty that looks very similar ro last years?? Has anyone done one of those fancy spreadsheets yet or is there an AC that seems to be coming out on top yet? I’m looking for skin stuff more than perfume as I got a ton of perfume in the Liberty one last year!

Me too, but the ACs are such good value 🙈 I'm hoping to restrain from all edits, unless it's liberty as I have my bd credit. If you're going to end up buying all of those items from vinted though, you'd be best of buying the bac and selling off what you don't want.
