SOTD deep lotus bibbi from the summer scent kit from Liberty.

Very intense slight oud opening then just tonnes of blackberry and and pepper. I think I like it. Have a soft spot for blackberry from JM Blackberry and bay many years ago.

Silky Woods from Goldfield and Banks today. Testerspray.

I realised I have about 25ml in testersprays so trying to go through them. I like the scent, but it doesnt project much and it wears off quickly which is too bad.

I'm loving this one at the moment.

I've gone for Valaya today as I'm off to test some perfumes from the sfac at Selfridges Manchester 💃🏻🎊

Trying fugazzi Cloudh Nine today. Hmm not sure about this one- it's ok but nothing special.

also tried euphoria solar eclipse from the perfume shop advent. This is vanilla-mangoey. Quite like it.

There was a point an our in where the oud/ saffron/ something was not my thing but the dry down is lovely. Good use of vanilla. Not a repurchase but it’s so nice to try these out in the 5-10 mls size.

I have very kindly shared my perfume shelf space with DP today, turns out he was hoarding FS masion margiela bottles for autumn! Gave him a bollocking to start using his flannels cracker from last year.It has bloody Killan/Creed/Moncler in it and he says they are too expensive to use! I said so if I go to Aldi I have to wear Axe bodyspray and cant wear nice stuff as we dont go to posh places and events? I have bought a Gurlein edt for him for xmas wonder how he's going to react to that. Also flannels are not doing them this year which I am not happy about at all. Going to take some half used bottles in the office and see if someone likes it, this is in anticipation of opening the FACs so to create space.

BDK Gris Chanel today. Wish it wasn’t a dabber bottle as I feel that really impacts the quality of the experience. Did someone mention decanting into a spray? I’ve only done that with the travel atomiser ones that pop on top of spray bottles.

It does, I hate dabbers. I think the expertise of spray is very different

Yes, you can buy kits on Amazon with small bottles and mini funnels. I have learned to get along with dabbers, but do prefer a spray.

Sote is pdm oriana. Definitely an autumn/ winter scent for me as its rich and sweet.

Yes, i have a couple that you can just pour into the spray. It works really well.

Today I tried Demon Dancer from Ex Nihilo. Really not my thing. It also smells really familiar but I cant put my finger on it.

L'atalier Parfum Vanilla Blush also not my thing. I find it too sweet for my liking. Its a nice one but its just not for me.

I went for La Prairie Life Threads Platinum. Sadly discontinued and I have half a bottle left so I eke it out.

It’s a beautiful chypre, and I will be sad when it’s all gone.
