Thank you @Lurkingshark It’s been an emotional day but I’m excited for DD as well as feeling quite bereft. It’s the best sort of loss, if you know what I mean. Now we all need to adjust, which will take a while. Poor dd2 and ddog (&dh!) are all going to be moping for a bit.
I did manage to get the JLFAC and slowly working my way through, aiming to widen my scent horizons, so treating it as a chance to experiment and play with a whole bunch of different scents. Although there’s a few which I suspect I really won’t like and plan to test in store first!
As a result, SOTE is Maison Crivelli Tuberose Astrale. Loved the cinnamon spice initial impression, thought it might be love. 2 hours later and can’t work out how I feel about the dry down. There’s a strong hint of coconut which slightly confuses me. But every time I sniff properly, my brain says “yes”. Think I’ll need to try a few more times. Welcome any more experienced ‘tasting’ notes from those who love or hate it!
