I haven't been that impressed by Vyrao either although I did like Sun Rae. The new cherry one, Ever 11, is nice but lasts about 5 minutes. And the 'backed up by neuroscience' bullshit annoys me. Yes, spray perfume, feel nice, that's been the case since perfume existed.

I may see if I can smell it in store first. If it’s a hit, would be great for picking up a bargain!

I haven’t tired Sun Rae but it does sound like something I’d like. To be fair I do have a woo side but even my eyes roll into the back of my head when I read their descriptions and claims 😂

I haven't worn it properly yet but I did like it. I really disliked last years so I'm pleased to keep this one as the bottle is lovely. I can't really remember the scent now without trying it again but I'm sure it was light, floral and innoffensive.

I have sample of this ordered, I will look at your ebay shop if I end up liking it.

Sniffing this Ganymede Marc-Antoine Barrois. I think only the D'Annam that smelled like red bean paste is strange, and I don't hate testing it but my goodness it is sooo strange. No way I want to smell like it

Annoyed with myself - I spotted a perfume in a charity shop and sprayed some on my wrist to test, and it's awful. Either it's badly turned, or (I think more likely) it's a fake - a Guerlain bottle that smells like someone's refilled it with TCP. Several washes later and swabbing with micellar water and it's starting to fade, just glad it was only on skin, not clothes!

hello all …i’ve been lurking for a few weeks on here and really getting into perfumes having bought the harrods /jo malone fac these past few years ….i m no expert and i’m not very discerning as there isn’t much i dont like but I tried the gong today and really like it …its a fresh zesty smell (yuzu i think it is ) but with depth …I really liked sand and stone from floraiku last year but prefer this one …may have to hunt vinted for a bargain …

I got a load of samples off Notino for around £20 for 25, all designer frag, decent deal.

This morning Bal D'Afrique. Wanted a more clean non intrusive scent as I had to go to the hospital. They think I have Fibromyalgia. Oh Joy 🙄

So I shopped today lol. Ordered the Holiday Box from Skins online and also 2 samples with it.

Got 3 fragrance samples on my way home. Bdk tonka and 2 from Dries van Noten Fleur de Mal and Camomille Satin. Wow, they smell really nice. Wish they would include DvN in Advents and edits.

sotd - Wonder Woman - House of Silage - smells like sweet raspberry mixed with soft florals and creamy vanilla. I love it, it looses its fruitiness on the dry down smelling more woody and vanilla which for me is perfect for this time of year. I got a sample of it from small aromas loved it but then realised it was a special edition and not sold anymore 😭😭😭

I had chronic fatigue with long covid. I think I constantly crave to have more energy since - maybe explaining my love for freshies

I have Camomille Satin on my sample wishlist.

I ordered a full size eau duelle edt (and my favourite candle ever ever feu de bois) as I’ve been thinking about it for ages and decided to go for it as I really do love it for a daytime vanilla that’s hot weather friendly. I sampled the edp but it’s too heavy for the climate here. It came with loads of samples including lazulio travel size which I’m excited to try properly

sotd is free 00 as it’s easy, soft and pretty and I didn’t have to give it much thought.

I don't know why sometimes it feels easer to spend tons on samples and advents vs one item we really want. Enjoy Eau Duelle @paristotokyo

I am going to wear Symphony today. I am drained, I told myself every time I have weight loss day I can use it as treat :) and I am going to do that. Also - it is office day, so it is very office appropriate.

I preferred the edp , the edt seems very light in comparison but that may be a good thing in a warmer climate.

So I started on my Harrods fragrance calendar yesterday. I'm doing 12 weeks til Christmas Eve! 🎁🎄 Opening 1 box every week until Christmas Eve. So yesterday, I opened the first box. I wore it again from a sample, but it's not for me. It did sell pretty much straight away on vinted.

I've attached a photo but marked it as sensitive as I don't want to spoil the HFAC order of fragrances for anyone. I've also had to screenshot my own photo from insta as the original on my phone is too large to attach 🤪

Today I've gone for the super smelly and strong rude oud. I love this one but don't wear it often. I might start wearing it more in the house though because I do really like it 💚

I'm craving smoky acid scents today! Will see if I have any left of the tabac Sahara sample I had. Also liberty 1875. And MB tobacco absolute.

Wfh day so will be doing multiple spritzing and testing

Yeah I can relate. Maybe thats why I'm more into scented candles and fragrance sticks at the moment. I want to feel cosy and relaxed in my own home.

The Dries van Noten is gorgeous. Its been a while since i fell in love on first sniff. I will wear it today on my skin after my morning shower starting with the CS.

Its one of the few from this brand that I do like. But it doesnt last on me. I find it a very summery scent so this will go in my stash drawer.

Its a good one to spritz in the morning when going into town for fragrance sampling later on lol.

Scraped the remaining drops out of the tabac sahara, it is lovely and I'm sorely tempted to get another sample - or even more -but am resisting.

Also tried Carolina Herrera Very Good Girl Elixir. This is another one I just don't get bored of. It's a great autumn scent, deep bitter cherry notes with I think tonka.
Can't decide which one I like more! Why decide anyway!

I think I'm going to put my bottle aside as a gift. It's nicely presented and there are a few people who would love it.

SOTD is Liberty Tudor, its ok but not a love

This is a bit random but I washed my hands with a peony & lychee hand-wash last night and it smelled very like Delina to me. Bayliss & Harding!

I had a good sniff/test session. Unfortunately it doesn't look like the two I really want to try form Louis Vuitton are coming to Ireland any time soon, and I am not blind ordering 300 euro perfume

Celine Zouzou, Black Tie (recommend giving this a sniff you are on hunt for smokey vanilla, and Parade. I sprayed this on a scrutchie - I want to spend some time with the scent and Eau de Californie. Quality perfumes, but nothing to make me get my wallet out. Black Tie is so much nicer then Babycat, if you are on the hunt for this type of thing

Chloe - Sous Les Pins I am going to need to test this on skin. Same about Cedrus.

TF chocolate tobacco. Smelt this a few times now, like it but not fb worthy I don't think
Tried the tangerine honey Jo Malone -supposed to have tobacco nots but they are very light. This is quite light and refreshing.
BDK Rouge Smoking Extrait. Oh my god this is soooo nice! I had this a couple of years back. Queen of the deep dark cherry scents. Can only dream of a fb but maybe a christmas list one.
