Dedcool Taunt. Its from the Space NK Grag from last year. I really like it, i like wearing it, it gets met compliments. Yet, I would not buy a full bottle of it.

Strange how that works sometimes

Blue Talisman Extrait today. This is a gorgeous scent, glad I've managed to acquire a couple of travel sizes of it.

I like it but it doesnt really last on me. So I sold loads of them. They were in every box/ advent over here. I swear I had a full bottle worth of travel sizes at one point.

By the fireplace as we have a rare cloudy/rainy morning. I love this a lot and bought a fs but dont have enough opportunity to wear it. It feels wrong to wear it in heat and humidity so it’s usually bedtime scent or when I’m feeling homesick. It’s cosy and comforting. I love the dry down especially

@AdvententhusiastI really like taunt! So easy to wear. Also got it in the spacenk fac. It’s a good size already though, 30ml? I was so tempted by the Dedcool discovery set as it’s discounted right now on spacenk but decided against it as I had other things in my basket I preferred to spend on.

BTSO Golden Milk again - I really like it! So polarizing though as I've heard many people only smell spilt milk.
Off to Liberty tomorrow as I'm on a trip to the capital. I'll definitely get the lisa eldridge edit which has a perfume in it. Also interested in the Abel warm gift set. Haven't booked a perfume experience this time.
I am also tempted to go to covent garden, I got a ring from there last year that I want to get another of, and I will undoubtedlly go int to hte perfume shops and get tempted so hmmm am I entering the lions den?

SOTD is Hundred Silent Ways. I like it, its not as in your face as Hacivat

I was tempted with the advent just for that. The name is inspired by rumi quote

“I closed my mouth and spoke to you in a hundred silent ways." Very poetic!

Have just tried Diptyque Eau Duelle at the airport. EDP on one wrist and EDT on the other. Was expecting to like it but really not keen. Checking fragrantica it mentions balsam & resin, so that’s why. Not for me.

Essential parfums Fig Infusion

Last time I ended up spending a LOT of money in covent garden at tom.ford and pdm. Regulars may remember i did the ds and durga experience at liberty and the staff tried very hard to get me pissed to get me to buy perfume. And buy perfume I did but not at liberty, I went back to CG.

Excited to visit liberty again, perfume lounge is my spiritual home!

I had a fabulous visit there in July. A perfume experience and then a Skin Rocks facial. Must go again!

Tom Ford Fig Erotique , this really is the most wonderful scent, sweet but not sickly, rich warm and fruity love love love it and would consider another fb when this runs out.

Hello! I've recently organised my stash and realised I have quite a few samples. I used to give them away as gifts, but perhaps the time has come to try them for myself.

Started with Ex Nihilo Blue Talisman EDP because I seem to have multiple samples.

I am considering making notes on each of the perfumes I test because I've noticed that even when perfumes have similar notes, they can smell quite different. Knowing me, I'll mix up my impressions of various perfumes.

I try to do this (make notes) but when I look them up later, they're often useless like "I don't know what this smells like but it's not too bad". Hope you do better.

Taunt today for something easy to wear. It’s not a very special unique scent but it’s just very versatile, all weather wear type of frag. It’s also difficult to find an amber/vanilla that works in humid weather and this one works so I reach for it a lot.

Liberty do these perfume experiences, £25 and you get taken into a separate room and have someone talk through all the perfumes in a brand and let you sample them all..includes refreshments. Quite good value. It was my birthday so they offered prosecco, then poured not a flute but a massive gin glass full to the brim and kept topping it up.

After the experience they left me with the remainder of the bottle in the booth and said take your time! Help yourself! Obviously the intention was to get me so pissed I'd lose any self control and buy lots of perfume.

WELL IT BACKFIRED! I staggered back to covent garden and spent a lot in tom ford and parfums de marly.

But it is the cheapest and nicest way to get pissed in central London for sure.

Excited to be off to London.. Will be there in an hour and straight to liberty! Have £30 space nk points so may stop off there first.

Sotd is a combo... staccato and phlur afterglow. Nice. Fruity, spicy.

Liberty was a bit crowded and I had bags with me so didn't stay long. Bought the lisa eldridge edit and Abel warm set at warp speed!

As for covent garden, I need to dump my bags at relatives place so may have to be later.

The lisa eldridge kit is massive...and heavy. Anyone who is planning to pick one up, beware.

Not had chance to sniff test the perfumes yet.

I tried Pomegranate Noir this morning, one of my CB 5 for 5 samples. I like it far more than I thought but its disappeared now. I'll try something else from the JLFAC later

Tried the tom ford tobacco chocolat again. I do like it, i can see it as s very christmassy scent. Chocolate + tobacco + bitter orange.
