@ScottishMouse I recently bought the Flower Mountain trainers and I am pleased with those. They are so comfortable. Not sure about the look though! Other than that, I mainly wear sandals or boots. I have a pair of chunky Mary Jane shoes which I got from Russell and Bromley a few years ago, but they are so uncomfortable.

I quite like the look of the Fracap ankle shoes so might try those at some point. For me, can’t go wrong with Fracap.

Oh, that would be so nice ... but never have in all these years.

The neat sweater arrived. I ordered a size up and it gives a looser fit. Very comfortable, good shade of navy - but mine had a tiny bright blue mark/dot/knot right on the front. Returned as faulty and have ordered another. It’ll be interesting to see if it reappears in someone else’s order.

Toast do a really good navy don't they? I was hunting online for that colour and had a look at the new autumn jumpers in Uniqlo yesterday and they've done away with almost all the navy - it's so weird! Their basic colours are now black, grey, chocolate and beige

Toast are doing 10% off for new customers. Would probably have to create a new email for it though as it won’t accept me as a new customer

After a disappointing summer sale for me (lots ordered, everything sent back) I am hoping that their “fading summer sale” might have something of interest.

I am also keeping my eye on that pinky clay Orla. I don’t need another Toast jumper really, but it’s very different to anything I own so I’m sure I can find a spot.

Did anyone local to Cheltenham receive an email this morning inviting them to a breakfast styling event next week? It’s not hugely convenient for me but I do have a day off so have claimed a spot. @mizuI think Cheltenham is your local??

The reworn drawstring collar linen/cotton dress in slate arrived yesterday. I was surprised how much I liked it. This I think this is from 2023. I can’t see it having been worn much, no faded patches on elbows/bum area for eg in having been worn. Feels really nice on. Not sure about what the drawstring on the collar offers except a little interest. Any comments from those who have it, or bought it, would be welcome.

Oh my. The reworn Blackhorse lane jeans arrived from reworn and I really really like them but they are a bit snug and will be most likely going back. I mean I can get them on and tempted to keep them as they’ll likely stretch and I am trying to lose a bit of weight but it’s not the right choice to keep them. They are just a bit too snug, size 8. Boo hoo. I wonder if I could just not eat for a month. 🤔

@ScallopShellWalk It was a summer sale item, so probably not on the site at the moment 😆. The review itself was constructive I think, for a return, but I always flail a bit for a title, and it was one of those hot hot days ... 😎

I called kilver court to ask if they had any Blackhorse lane jeans but they say they haven’t seen any for years. So I’ve put them on again to try. Getting my head around snug fitting jeans as opposed to my usual loose baggy form. My other half is surprised I’m not keeping them. I’m tempted to and wear as fitted jeans and look out for a bigger pair to have baggier ones. I have them on now, sitting on the edge of the bed, wondering and I think they are ok, just not loose. I guess they should really go back if I want looser jeans but oh they are very nice. If I could have the option of a 10 I may have gone with that but I don’t. I’ll think it over. Try them again after lunch.

Hello all, autumn is calling me to evaluate the cupboards! I’ve just ordered the long sleeved navy jersey top, another staple to switch with the mustard/ gold colour from last year.

We’ve been away and I’ve shopped at seasalt with mum. We both bought a lovely slubby cardi and a few other things. I have to say, with the seasalt 20% off promotion, a bag of a few items cost less than a dress at Toast!

My Toast purchases have been great summer “wears”. I’ve been stopped a few times and asked where I have purchased the items with strong print patterns.

Denim always stretches @ScallopShellWalk ....glad you decided to keep them 😁

I've given up on my dream of owning Toast trousers for now (how can they be too short when Toast models are practically the same height as me?!) but found some Seasalt barrel leg trousers which are not a million miles away from the Toast aesthetic. They're brown corduroy and give me strong geography teacher vibes, but I quite like that!
