@OvaHere
I have 2 of the violette boum -boum milk. Ive not tried yet as my skin is not happy atm and sprays, essences, in general serm to make it feel drier 🤔🙄 my skin has always liked to be awkward.
Ive just clicked link and going to definitely use at some point as serves as a toner, serum and moisturiser. So 3 in 1. Pricey though for the size says suitable for acne and senstive skin.

I've been really pleased with this so far. It was a whim purchase but I wore Bibbi Deep Lotus yesterday and loved it. A rare Bibbi win for me.

@Doglover73 Don't mind at all, I have like 300 items listed, but a mix of clothes and beauty items. I sell things for my sisters too, that's why I have so many, plus lots of beauty items of course! 😉

It's not the most hydrating spray ever. I find I need to spray quite a bit which is why it's going down fast. Could be because the mist is very fine. Once I have enough on my face though it's nice.

Thanks @OvaHere
Ill try it rather than sell and have fomo. 🤣 Trouble is my skin will look amazing after trying something new. Well sometimes. 🤣 so I then buy the routine and then my skin decides it doesnt like it anymore or its just ok with it. 🙄🤔🤣

Ive just received an order from the cornish seaweed company. Cleanser, shampoo and conditioner plus freebies. Was being stalked on facebook by it 🤣
As the name suggests made from cornish seaweed. My hairs so dry atm with meno and poss the weather although I dont go out in it if I can help it.
Has anyone tried this range?

Thelifeofawife · 11/07/2026 09:51

My old/first scent was Lancôme Oui!
This was followed by Issey Miyake L’eau d’Issey then D&G Light Blue.

On the subject of fragrances, I finally got around to going shopping to do a sniff test of my YSL Le Vestaire sets to see which I want to keep or sell, and I realised that I don’t recall getting an email with my £50 voucher. I’ve trawled through my emails and can’t see one. Did anyone else have an issue with it?

I’m tempted by the Harrods fragrance set, but I wish it had been in stock when I went shopping/scent testing as I’m a bit unsure on the FDB rude oud.
I did try the Maison Crivelli Safran Secret and I hated it. However, the counter had just opened in Selfridges that day and the sales assistant was talking us through various scents, the themes behind them, etc. I liked a couple of the rose scents they have, but I don’t recall testing the other one that’s in the Harrods bag

@BurningTheToast - cheapest place to buy the Tobacco Vanille atm is at SNK.

Perfumista do decent 9ml samples for around £45 or less if you get a smaller sample. Have tried + is legit.

Is your sister a different clothes size to you? I think due to the reliance on AI, Vinted has some very blunt detection tools.

Since losing weight I've sold a lot of my old clothes but I also have some old clothes from before I put on the weight. I'm wary of putting them on straight away because I've read instances of Vinted interpreting have a wide range of clothes sizes as buy-to-sell. I know people do buy to sell on but it's really not unusual for women age 30+ to have bags of clothes across the size spectrum.

I've also got a pile of young adult male clothing - Superdry type stuff I'd like to sell but again I'm wary of looking like a reseller when in reality it's just clothes the DS's no longer want. They'd be happy bunging them in a charity bag but I paid for most of them and I could buy some beauty shite with that money!

Vinted is great for the speed you can shift stuff but also really awful when the slightest thing goes wrong and has unreasonable, nonsensical rules. I feel lucky not to have been banned yet, just had the odd item removed. Every time I upload though I'm half expecting it.

@Thelifeofawife A few people had issues with the voucher I recall.

Re the Rude Oud Elixir. I like it more than the original Rude Oud but to me it's a beast mode scent. I tried a tiny spray on my arm and it was all I could smell for hours. I'm very on the fence as whether I will actually wear this.

I've not had any problems with selling a range of sizes @OvaHere, I sold a lot of my mum's when she died and batched it into similar items/brands which seemed to work. I do have 100s of sales which might make a difference.

They did remove Christmas rag wreaths, saying I needed to be a pro seller for those.

MrsDahliaTravers · 11/07/2026 10:14

I do sell a range of sizes, but I think it was a beauty item that did for me! It was a Clarins day cream, which I'd already sold one of on Vinted. Think it's sensitive to people selling multiples of the same item. The problem is that the same items pop up in lots of different edits, so sometimes it's hard to avoid. I'd left a while between them, but it mustn't have been long enough 🤷🏻‍♀️

Thanks. I might be worrying over nothing but it does seem a law unto itself sometimes.

I'm wary of that. I've got away with it a couple of times and I've also bundled stuff in one listing to avoid it before. That only works for some items though. Not many people want two of the same shade of lipstick, for example.

@OvaHere I think from the message that I got that Vinted use AI to identify commercial selling, so maybe that's why it seems random?

SummerLimes · 11/07/2026 10:35

I’ve only had beauty items deleted - mainly perfumes - one saying used (it wasn’t) and one saying can’t selling promotional items.

SummerLimes · 11/07/2026 10:42

From gift sets or advents - I think the comment was.

A quote. AI is definitely a big part of the issues.

Another seller was banned after listing a necklace made by Monet, a costume-jewellery brand. The AI system is thought to have confused the brand for the Impressionist painter.

Not keepincool but I have also been using the Rejuran Ampoule. I really like it. 4 drops is enough for face and neck. I use it morning and one evenings when I’m not using a retinol or other serum. Maybe 4 evenings a week.

It goes on easily and absorbs and I like the prep it gives me for the next thing.

My Skin is looking pretty good at the moment!

Sorry @IlovePond , I missed your message. I've been using the Rejuran in the same way as @TragicMuse . It's also meant to be a good serum to use after micro needling, which I haven't got round to doing yet, but the Rejuran might give me the push to get on with it.

Talking of hydrating sprays, I’ve been using the new By Terry Matcha one and it’s really lovely. I got sent it for free to review and even though it’s pricey I definitely think I’d consider RP.

Loving the blasts from the best. Loved anais anais.
Their advertising was/is very good. The trail of females following the scent. My brother loved it. 😍

Bloody he'll, just read your post with my phone at a funny angle and thought you'd typed you love anals anals - I thought it was a typo though, not a confession 😂

The GA GWP is the only one I’d go for from Liberty next week but annoyingly I’m there on Wednesday not Thurs/Fri 😭

MrsDahliaTravers · 11/07/2026 11:42

Thanks @OvaHere, that was really interesting. Am lucky that I'm not relying on Vinted for my income like the people in the article, it's awful for them for Vinted to destroy their businesses. I think it will make a lot of people go back to eBay. It's frustrating though, as you see others selling fake K18 hair masks and Birkenstocks, and they don't seem to get banned!
