SNK have a disclaimer about samples not being guaranteed. I've been caught out before with the diptyque samples.

My daughter in laws was cancelled and so was my friends . Both ordered before 8am . CB is very disappointing . They were one orders each . I think it should be one per customer . they are nicer than me . I’ll not be preferring from them again . And on principle I’m not buying one from Vinted or eBay . Much like the multiple Harrods FBAC . I absolutely do not have a problem with re sellers but when it turns into a business model it’s unfair . My daughter in law does not have much money . It’s just sad.

There must be some odd explanation for the way CB has dealt with the Sali Hughes edit. I know I placed my order after others who had theirs cancelled (my email says 7:57am) but mine has been sent. I seem to have good luck with CB (got all my 40% off orders and all my bonus status points without a ban) but I have no idea why. I don’t think I spent that much with them for my business to be worth more than others.

Also Sali Hughes said on Instagram the average order per person was 1.3 boxes so it doesn’t seem resellers were the main problem.

I ordered one Sali Hughes box at 8.25, so think mine was a later one.

Sali has been doing CB edits since 2020, but this is the first one I've bought. It is by far the best value for money out of all her previous boxes, especially with the money off code.

I ordered the Sali Hughes edit and received confirmation at 8:02. It arrived today. I'm sorry that people who ordered earlier didn't get theirs. It's odd.

I don’t begrudge anyone on here getting theirs, I am really pleased . I’m just miffed . And it wasn’t even for me .

I have dyscalculia and am really struggling to work out what the allocation of 1.3 boxes per person might look like.

I presumed it was an average so 99 people buying 1 plus 1 buying 30= 130 sold to 100 people average 1.3 each.

I ordered 2 boxes 7 minutes apart (7.41 and 7.48). Both were dispatched yesterday supposedly by next day delivery, but have not yet been received by Relay. I’m not holding my breath.

The amount of reselling has ruined beauty edits for me. It's like gigs and ticket touts. I don't even really like the amount of listing on Vinted of parts of edits and BACs tbh which is why I rarely post on these threads any more.

Thank you - I guess vinted and ebay may be flooded with them soon.

One of the things I like about Style Korean is that they are strict with their one box per customer rule for their edits. I wish others would follow suit when they know edits and BACs will be popular, or at least have a maximum of 3 or 4 per person.

That’s so true @keepincool - I am sure that some people go under the SK radar by having several different accounts, but the one box rule definitely deters resellers- especially as SK have something on their site along the lines of they will cancel orders if they suspect reselling.

Yes, definitely don't begrudge anyone else getting their box (apart from any resellers who have bought 30!) and am happy for everyone on here who receives their order, regardless of order time. Maybe CB need a better stock control system though! Wonder how many orders they cancelled? 🤔

I don’t ever buy things with a view to reselling - which is just as well as I am rubbish at it. If something turns up in an edit or a/c that I absolutely cannot use, then I will shove it on eBay, (where it languishes for months, before - if I am lucky - it sells for a couple of quid!)

I agree that retailers should say one box/edit per customer to deter pro-flippers!

My two orders were one for me, one for my DD. Not for resale at all.

I totally missed the opportunity to order and had been hoping for a sec on release, but the CB credits suggest that’s not on the cards. I never want everything in an edit or GWP (except the Jessups lemon drop!) so it makes sense sticking a few bits on Vinted instead of sitting in the cupboard for years, but I’m not remotely organised enough to do it on purpose (nor do I have enough time!)

On a separate note: used the BoJ centella sheet mask this evening, which was lovely. Massive thanks to whoever mentioned removing the backing sheet….!!!

Oh, I'm not against people getting a couple of boxes for gifts @Addictedtobeauty , please don't think I'm having a go at anyone here. It's people who are allowed to purchase 10 or 20 edits that are likely to be sold on at inflated prices who piss me off. It means that others who genuinely want the edits or BACs miss out.

I remember an Aldi scrum for one of their new beauty dupes years ago where people were grabbing whole box fulls of the product when it was released. I did moan to Aldi HQ about that one and they sent a nice apologetic reply back. They soon brought in a maximum purchase policy on some new release items after that. They must have had loads of complaints 😄

Don't get me wrong, I've also listed the odd beauty item on Vinted in the past (fairly successfully actually, they seem to do better than clothes for me) but I don't tend to buy anything with the intention of not using it. I usually go into edits and ACs with the attitude of I'll probably try everything. That's the fun for me. And if I don't at least want to try everything, I don't buy it.
