Probably just confused the system and they were allocating stock to duplicate orders 😞 Hopefully this does not happen with the Harrods calendar.

Someone is selling their CB edit on vinted for £100 😳 if it sells for that, I think I'll sell mine.

I don't really get it. It's a nice edit but not the best CB have ever done. Is Sali Hughes a v popular personality?

Sorry to hear some of you have had your CB boxes cancelled. I did wonder if they might cancel orders when I heard how fast it sold out. Mine is still showing as processing but am fully expecting the cancellation email soon.

My CB edit showing as dispatched but I’m away for a couple of weeks. My dad is housesitting and is going to be bombarded with parcels at this rate 🙈

I've no idea. I didn't even know who she was until yesterday 🤣 I just liked the medik8 peptides serum we got in the snk box and thought I'd try the version from the CB sh box. I probably wouldn't have bought it if the code hadn't worked as I'm really trying to reduce my spending (and failing) 🙈

That was the main reason I didn't get it. They had the same peptides in the flight edit with the orange bag a few weeks ago so I def don't need two.

Well I’ve ordered a sharpener from Ilia and got the gloss and the wash bag!

Mine arrived today (ordered just after 7), I'm guessing this sold out as was an exceptional value, which must've attracted resellers.

I tried again and when I do it it definitely removes the gloss, i was only seeing out of curiosity as ive already ordered with the lip liner. Glad for those who could make it work!

Resellers will all undercut each other on CB edit so price is bound to fall,doubt very much it will stay at £100.

I was wondering that too. We all remember CB Sunday, so maybe they want to avoid all the accusations of bad terrible awful rubbish poor CS again?

Sali has had a weekly beauty column in the Guardian newspaper/website for years maybe at least 15 years. It was part of my Saturday morning routine a long time ago to read the article and comments every week.

The comment section was like a mini version of these threads for beauty lovers but were switched off a few years ago after a trolling scandal. I don't blame Sali to be honest, it was those people from the deranged forums that stalk and harass influencers who caused her trouble.

She also has a YouTube channel that hasn't been updated for years but the 'In the Bathroom' episodes were great where she'd meet various celebs who'd talk through their beauty stash. Still worth a watch in my opinion.

The Guardian column is still going and she's big on Instagram too.

Oh it looks like I missed the Ilia offer with the liberty bag. It’s adding the lipgloss but I’m reluctant to proceed knowing that I could have got a bag (that I don’t need) as well. I like their limitless lash mascara.

@Mejera I also use wands from other mascaras. I currently go over mascara using the wand from Glossier.
I learned this trick years ago when I spent very little on makeup. I loved the No7 mascara but decided to step down to a cheaper alternative, and used the No7 wand on a £2 mascara 😅

Hi, my Chloe Credus order arrived from CB - for some reason they gave me next day delivery, but I am not complaining.

The perfume and lotion came in a gift box so I have put it away as a birthday present for me at Xmas.

However, I am miffed that the two free Balenciaga perfume samples that I should have got and were showing in my basket have not appeared with my order.

I looked at my order on CB and the perfume samples are not showing.

Is this usually what happens if sample stock runs out - that the evidence just disappears from the original order?

This has happened to me a few times with SNK - I don’t think I have EVER received the free samples promised from them with any order.

Oh well, it’s not like I need any more perfume minis, but I was looking forward to trying them.

On the plus side, CB have moved me to Gold but does this actually mean anything?

I think the Ilia x Liberty wash bag is sold out. I had it sitting in my cart and I got a notification it was sold out, and it’s not adding with genuinely qualifying orders now either.

@IlovePond Gold gets early access to some things, a higher discount sometimes in sales and roughly every quarter they announce new Gold perk brands that are always on discount for Gold members.

I'm sure one of the perks used to be free next day delivery on anything but now I think it's orders over £30.

There might be other stuff I've forgotten.

Thanks @OvaHere - I haven’t ordered from CB since the points debacle so - apart from not getting my samples - I am just happy that I got my order and I was able to use my account credit. Getting Gold status was a pleasant bonus.

I follow Sali on Insta, read her Guardian column and have bought her books. She has an MBE for her charity work too. I think she’s cool.

She does a CB edit every year but she said on Insta that she usually posts about it a lot earlier but it wasn’t finalised until late.in the day, so maybe the hype built a lot.
