🥭 🥭 🥭 Mango Skin for me today.

They are closing in Ireland but I am not sure if its immediate effect. I will miss them I have to say, now Selfridges chain will have complete monopoly of Irish market owning both Brown Thomas and Arnotts

I used to dislike dabbers but got into them and prefer a dab to a spritz when at work.

Easy enough to buy little spray bottles and funnel on Amazon if you want to convert.

Shame about HN- I liked them as they were never busy, but I assume that was the issue.

SOTD commodity juice- too fruity for me now- might keep the rest of the travel size until autumn.

Also - anyone want to swap an Abel Double Scoop from Liberty kit? One spray gone. I’m fairly open but have confirmed that lactonic or vanilla not for me

I am not big on layering but Debaser & Mango skin is doing it for me

Valaya for me today. Light airy clean scent.

MM Bubble Bath for me today. Long car journey up North and didn’t want OH complaining about strong perfume in the car 😬

Zara Blackberry Oud - don't usually go for Zara but smelled this in store and fell in love. It's quite light on the oud, lovely fruity blackberry note, perfect as we go into Autumn

Delina La Rosee for me today

Alia Main Character today. It was also SOTD yesterday. This was in the LF FAC last year and is a bit of an underrated scent at the lower price point so I'm giving it some love at the moment.

Jarrolds finally got new testers in so I have been able to test Delina. It’s nice but I don’t think it’s me…

Still, I’m glad I know what it’s like.

Mfk l'homme a la rose again. Love this, its so light and refreshing. Not sweet at all.

Miller Harris Staccato - this could be my new autumn scent as it's a lovely smoky, spicy thing with tobacco, cinnamon and amber notes. Definitely one for walking through piles of autumn leaves in a couple of months time when summer is a distant memory.

Today is Ellis Brooklyn queens caramel and yesterday was nuxe fragrant water

the queens caramel smells similar to sol de janeiro 71 if you know that. I love it but it can come across as burnt Victoria sponge to some 😂

nuxe fragrant water is a beautiful mist for summer all the smells of the beach and hot skin. Doesn't last long as it's a mist but I keep buying it for the initial burst of Ibiza it gives me every time I spray it

After seeing references to it I realised I had a Sana Jardin Age of Aquarius. So I’m trying that today.

I like the freshness. And I’m getting distinct 4711 vibes. I actually have a bottle of 4711 and the nose is very similar!

Musc ravageur from the malle discovery set. Really enjoyed this a couple of years ago. It's nice but feels a bit too strong and sweet today. I have loved this discovery set and 3.5ml size is perfect.
Also spritzed the new la bomba intensa whilst out. Nice, but a bit too sweet and juicy.

I seem to have gone off sweet scents of late.

posted sample for Tragic today. The post office I went to is open 7 days a week until 11pm but you have to haggle them down from special delivery (they quoted me £11!?) and it’s in the dodgiest area
it’s also a toss up whether they send it with RM, Evri or DPD. On the plus side it’s always entertaining to go to

I did spray, just 1 spray, of Fugazzi passionfroughd this afternoon. Oomph! It's very strong! 😳 I've been sorting out all my fragrances today and wanted to decide if to gift it to dh, but decided I'll try it again in autumn. It's not a love, but I don't hate it.

I had to go there for my security license and there was someone yelling about euros, a freezer full of local delicious ice cream and some kids making slushie potions. I always feel like I’m going to end up on crime watch every time I go

@IDontHateRainbows i had to give the musc to my daughter! Much as I loved it I just couldn't escape it iukwim, it never changed and all I could smell. I did get lots of compliments on it tho. One friend actually bought it on the basis it smelt like sex! I didn't say that to my daughter 😂

@TragicMuse i like Aquarius it reminds me of Florence there's a fragrance called Aqua d'Elba which I love! Also sandalwood temple of theirs is beautiful

I've found the most wonderful combination. I was raving earlier about MH staccato which is smoky and spicy, well I paired that with penhaligon's babylon and it's added the perfect slight sweetness, I'm calling it babyccato .

Chloe Nomade Nuit D'Egypte today for work - a bit strong so may need to wash off before important meeting later. Or I could distract them all with the lovely smell like I did when in a meeting a while back and all everyone could comment on was the TF Tobacco Vanille!

Discontinued Love Osmanthus Atelier Cologne. I like it a lot bit I don't think I will miss it when it's gone

Today it’s Bruno Fazzolari Au Dela Narcisse des Montagnes. I love this so much. And I love almost all of his creations. Not so keen when he discons my favourites!

I first got this as a sample from the lovely Lizzie Ostrum when she came to do a talk at the Isle of Wight literary festival and I was her room host! And then I asked my husband for a full bottle for Christmas.

It’s a lovely powdery floral chypre. I think it has pretty good longevity too.

Anyway. Bruno Fazzolari. Love love love.
