I’ve been on a hiatus from mn then we’ve been travelling for the summer. Came to check my fave perfumista thread first. For some reason I only packed two frags - EA green tea and le labo eucalyptus. Both I love and were great for the places we were (very hot), but I missed the variety and sometimes craved something heavier and comforting. We’re back home now so going to attempt to make a dent again in all the samples and travel sizes I’ve collected. I did douse myself in byredo gypsy water (my travel sized finished and I absolutely love it) at the duty free but I just can’t justify a full bottle when the longevity and projection is so abysmal.

Malle lipstick rose. Powdery light rose..enjoyable but no urge to rp as the little sample nears its end.

Tom Ford santal blush I always wear this on the first days of late summer

Feels like it's autumn where I am! I know not everyone does, but i do enjoy being seasonal with scents. Already thinking about the spicy smoky deep ones on the way.

Thameen Cullinan Diamond. It’s quite deep and intense so it’s don’t wear it often but I do love it.

It feels like I woke up and it’s autumn! Like @paristotokyo I’m away from home and limited myself to a few samples of summer freshies, but today I’m wishing I had something warmer! I have an Impulse vanilla musk body spray, so that’s going to be the SOTD.

Thinking ahead to autumn, what are your favourite transitional late summer-early autumn fragrances?

@MotherWol santal blush as I mentioned into autumn, jasmin rouge into winter, Chanel gardenia into spring and soliel de feu into summer. They are the ones I think of straight away when I can smell a change in the air 😊

Poor, but I love Miami Nectar, Myth and Florist. I finish travel of each before buying full bottle. I want to try Vanilla Rice and Vanilla man

Commes de garcons zero today - I really like this one, it's one of those barely there, pencil shaving, wood chippings ones. Not usually my thing but this one is really nice. Subtle. CDG known for quite minimalistic, urban scents. This is the only one I've liked.

Bal d’Afrique. So lovely.

Evening scents: Have gone for Blue Talisman, a creamy fruity floral and FDB Lucius which is a woody citrus.

Boots have brought out their own range of perfumes, £12.99 each
one sounds very glossier you like. Going to try and have a look tomorrow

Metal Lavender today from liberty kit. Wasn't sure at first but its a grower.

Sharing with my fragrant friends that miller harris do 4 x 2ml samples for 10.40 with code sorry forgot the code but comes easily on a search or with coupert. Free delivery. Nice way to have an inexpensive treat. Really recommend soufflot, oud eclat and scherzo.

today is bibbi swimming pool I think from a liberty calendar or beauty box. I quite like it! It's perfectly named I think as well. Not chlorine like but has an undertone of everything and everyone in a pool! Which sounds horrid 😂
