I’m still in 2 minds over the Liberty scent kit. I really want the Harrods FAC and have been checking daily. I think I’ll wait a week and if it’s still in stock on Friday (payday) then I’ll get it and it won’t be such a blow when I fail to nab à Harrods.

Bit early to be checking daily for Harrods unless there is news of an imminent release? Was definitely mid aug last year, possibly the 3rd week of August ..

I don't live there but visiting a friend that way next week. Unfortunately she is allergic to perfume but I may be able to slip in on the way back to the train station.

Ds & durga radio bombay today. Possibly my favourite from this house. Its a spicy, woody one with a hint of metallic/ copper .

Off for a much needed break away this weekend so need to pare my massive collection of travel sizes down to the top 10 or so to take with me...

It was 4th Aug we all bought it. A day before the advertised 5th Aug. I think it will be the same week (according to Woman and Home article) but I'm gearing up now for regular page refreshing as I don't trust Harrods not to surprise drop 😂

I’ve ordered Liberty kit so don’t think I can justify Harrods AC.

Ah I must be getting confused with when liberty released. Not long at all. I reckon the day before the day they say ...

I'm wondering if they'll even announce a date or if they'll just say early August. After people were kicking off last year, if they don't put a date on, they can't get complaints. It'll just be on there one day, like 'taaaa-darrrr' 🎉

I'm hoping beauty detective or someone on here will suss it out.

I really shouldn't have, but I've ordered the Liberty edit and, in a moment of weakness, got suckered in to getting a Liberty exclusive jellycat bunny at the same time. I don't even like jellycat, although the bunnies are cute.

I read, possibly the independent, that it may be late July /early August this year.

I decided to have a look at my archive today and dug out à Tauer. № 10 - Une Rose Vermeille. Lovely raspberry, vanilla and very light rose. Just right for today. Smells like a raspberry soda. Also pulled out some old M&S ones: Monotheme rose oud and Apothéose de Rose. Both still lovely. Definitely had a love for rose, but I’ve moved over to more Jasmine and tuberose now.
So tempted to pull more out but I have so many on the go right now. It’s fun doing swapsies with my boxes. Next time I drag everything out I’ll take a load of photos.

I went to Jarrolds and had a sniff of PdM Delina, Delina Exclusif and the rose version. Nice but mostly too sweet. The exclusif is slightly more woody and I like that one the most.

Unfortunately most of the testers were empty and apparently PdM are mean with providing them!

Then we had a go at Tom Ford. No. Absolutely not! So much creosote!

I shall lower the tone by saying that I tried the new M&S Discover range today which I see some commentators have praised highly in the beauty press. Didn’t like any except the Ginger Flower which had amazing longevity.

Zara Barbie for me today. Marshmallow and orange blossom

The last drops of Infusion de Rhubarbe Prada. I enjoyed the travel size, not sure if I will purchase full bottle - maybe if I see it on great offer but I loved every drop of it.

Vilhelm basilico & fellini today. Its like a softer Bibbi swimming pool

Byredo Alto Astral today. Lovely scent, it's almost as lovely as Mojave Ghost Absolu but I think MG takes the top spot, just.

Like both @OvaHere 's byredos agred Mo Ghost absolu has the edge. It is just so fleeting tho

Trying the crivelli musc nurasana from the harrods scent seeker. Wasn't sure at first but its a grower.

I wasn't sure about it from a small test so tried it properly the other day and had to scrub it off. I rarely do that so it's definitely not for me. I don't think I gel with MC generally.

Liberty bd perfume day and the abel warm set is calling to me as has 20% off , I have just bought the scent kit tho.

Decisions Decisions. Really rate Abel as new kid on the block and enjoyed laundry day and Miami split in recent kits.

My SOTD has been floraiku sand and skin. I love this one, it's gorgeous for warm weather and lasts all day on me.
