Liberty scent kit out for delivery but I'm nkt home til Wednesday... torture. Resisted buying the Abel set yesterday with the discount as I've spent loads recently and the harrods Fragvent should be launching v soon.

Bought the Liberty scent kit as a birthday present for myself (next week) - very excited! Also havering about getting decants of the new DS & Durga aftershaves as I really prefer their masculine-leaning scents. Today - Jo Malone Orange Marmalade, trying to use up my big bottle.

I bought the Liberty scent kit and am very pleased with it except the Fugazzi Purple is missing . I wonder if this has happened to anyone else ? I have emailed CS at Liberty and am waiting for a reply .

They are not bad, in a sea of bots and shit CS most places.

I try not to bother with places who don't have decent/ human CS these days unless they have a very good dealor offer on. It's not worth the hassle.

I was in a mad rush this morning, almost late for doc appointment, haring out of the house, I even forgot all my rings! So I fall back on my own blend ‘Chypre #3’ of which I keep a small spray in my bag!

DS&Durga Debaser today. Fresh green fig. Am on holiday in Austria and surrounded by trees, lakes and mountains. Lovely!

mango skin from the summer scent kit. Gentle mango, not a RP but I like it more than I thought. DD loved it and puttered off to holiday club in it…

Im trying to stick to a low-buy year, so for July I’ve got some samples, more designer than niche, although I’m really curious about the Perfumer H ones after trying them at Liberty. The 2ml bottles are little dabbers, so I’ll decant them into atomisers for ease of use.

Currently wearing D&G Your Devotion, which is nice in a creamy-fruity-floral way, like posh shampoo, but the notes listed were melon and milk, so I was maybe expecting a little more than it delivers.

Crivelli musc again, keep changing my mind on this but currently its a like.

Also enjoying Jo Malone pear + Freesia. Have struggled to get on with jo malone as a house but this is the only one I've liked.

Yesterday was Shay and Blue Black Tulip and today the Tiziana Terenzi scent that was in last year's Harrods FAC. Not one I'd buy outright but I find it light and inoffensive for the office.

I am pleased with the liberty kit, so much I went to look if it's still in stock. Two of those suit me much better then one of the Harrods advent calendars as Liberty curations suit me better. Great start of advent season for me - although technically this is summer edition

One of my liberty kits is waiting for me at home, the other is en route. I hope to get a variety, adelphi sun and wild rosinda would be ideal but at least one of those.

In other news, tried the essential parfums sampler. This house seems to have sprung up out of nowhere. Sampler good value at £25 for 9 x 2ml but not finding anything amazing. The fig one is ok. Its a great way to develop my nose as all the scents are named after a note so I can learn do i or dont I like.... eg patchouli, neroli.

All a bit average smelling if you ask me. Apart from the fig which is best of a bad bunch I wouldn't be interested in any.

opera infernal is on the heavy side for me, I will try it again in colder weather. Oh it's so nice to get such a good set - I was disappointed when I sow Harrods content so this is just perfect!

Maison Crivelli Musc nurasana for me today. I really enjoy the opening of this, and then it dries down to like an expensive soap, which I don't mind right now 🥰

@MiaN I really like the Harrods one, I keep talking to my husband about it like I've already ordered it 🙈 I need to stop getting my hopes up. I don't think it'll be as popular as last year, but I think there'll still be a scramble 🫯

Harrods is very popular, but not one for me. It's great to have options, as frarance is very personal

Opera infernal is intense :). And you can not get rid of it easy - one drop on my wrist 3 washes later it is so going strong. I do like it but it's not a me scent.

I will likely keep Citic, Lust in Paradise, Adelphi Sun, Purple and Double scoop - listed from the freshest to the sweetest.
I may try to sell Valaya and the varyo
I well see if the guys like the rest, they are masculine/ not my type.

Tried double scoop, didn't like it at first as it is quite sickly almost burnt caramel, but enjoyed it more as it dried down. One of those you keep sniffing to see if/ why you like it.

I'd love a selfridges one. After they launched the fragrance edits this year, who knows. Last year they did a fragrance edit that sold out almost immediately. What I don't like is that they seem to take the perfumes out of the little boxes and put them in the big box naked so to speak. This meant one of mine had smashed and annoyingly leaked over the others. As they had sold out, I didn't want to return it without guarantee of a replacement. Think I bartered a tenner out of them or something in the end.

Boots one sounds like it would be designer frag rather than niche and there's already the perfume and fragrance shop doing those so not that bothered.
