Mentally a bit up and down at the moment, so have decided to spend this month's perfume budget on some decants from Perfumer H and Notino (Hermes Gardens and D&G Capri in Love). Still undecided on today's SOTD.

It’s still available and pretty close to the original especially when applied on a base of Rituals L’Eclat.

Homme a la rose arriving today ( sample size from ebay). This is my favourite non sweet refreshing aquatic rose. Not just for hommes!

@EvelynBeatrice Paloma Picasso was my scent when I was 19- tempted to get a bottle.

@SummerLimes hope the formulation hasn’t changed for you. I only tried this one once - it was a mini in an airport set when I was a teen and too much for me then. However I prefer more complex scents now naturally so may have to try again!’

I have a colleague named Alia so I gifted it to her for xmas!

Spent an hour after work in Cabot Circus in Bristol as now it has holy Trinity of Sephora, Boots Beauty and lookfantastic. Tried Killian Angels share and surprised that it smells like apple pie! Also tried tom ford ombre leather as potential gift for partner but its soooo leathery I dont think I can stand it.Before the frag calendar buying decision I will head down there again as I am sure most of them I will be able to find in one of them. Boots Beauty is so much better than Sephora experience so if you are in southwest plan a day out in cabot at some point.

Harrods fragrance is not for me. To be honest, I feel I will be fussier customer this year. Space nk is must for me but the rest I will consider carefully

Does that mean the Harrods Frag Cal will be on sale soon? I've never had one but I know I'm unlikely to be quick enough.

The Liberty Scent Edit is very good value but a lot of overlap with stuff I've already got. Also I don't like the "X or Y or Z" business because I always seem to end up with the ones I least want.

Lots of this or that ones yes which makes it a bit of a lottery. Of course, I have ordered. Annoyingly im going away this weekend but hopefully they can leave it behind the gate and the cat sitter can bring it in.

Commodity juice - love the fruity but also not too fruity aspects of it.

I graduated with my Masters degree today! Chose to wear La Prairie Life Threads Platinum for it. It’s an absolutely wonderful woody chypre which they have, naturally, discontinued. I wore it in the early days of our adoption and it’s what my now-teen says is the one that makes me smell
like mummy.

I have half a bottle left, and I eke it out for special occasions.

I've been in Greece for a fortnight, and have come home with some amazing spa candles in Black Lavender. I wish I could have got body stuff in the same range but it was a hotel exclusive. I took Delina, Discotheque All Night Until First Light and La Bomba so I've been wearing Sand and Skin since I've been back. I'm going to try for Harrods ac but the Liberty edit has too much I've already got, and I haven't found a Bibbi I like yet.

I may change my mind by tonight though 😁

Babylon today. The only penhaligon's I really like..wish they did a 30ml . Managed to pick up a rare 10ml on ebay. Beautiful spicy vanilla. Would consider a fb as a Christmas or birthday treat.

The homme a la rose 5ml I bought smelt funny. Don't think its a fake, 5ml not really scam worthy but may have degraded over time. Luckily easy return/ refund on ebay.

I started the day with Penhaligons Empressa but after a day hitting the perfume counters of HN and JL I now smell like a dept store myself.

Went in to Jo Malone and tried their Ltd ed veggie scents. Was surprised how nice they are. The Butternut one was the winner for me.
