Lovely. The last thing I need is another perfume - but if it doesn't sell and is sitting there lonely......

I've mainly had From the Garden on today which is a fresh, piquant, tomato leaf ideal for summer days. Fancy something sweeter this evening which I will mull over on the way home.

From the Garden is lovely in hot weather. I think it smells like being inside a greenhouse.

Prada Infusion D'Ylang. This was a suprise find as I didn't think I liked florals but this is the creamiest, tropical yellow floral I've smelt and very lovely.

Valaya again for me!

My mum loves rose scents - could you recommend some for me please?

Were there any in the Perfume society box last winter?

I’ll check back again but I’m sure I’ve seen a reference to rose scents in the last few days. Can I find it? No. No I cannot!

There are loads of different rose scents it's one of those notes which is very versatile
Scherzo miller harris - a rose-oud
Memo Odeon- a sweet honey rose
Delina - a fruity rose
and my current favourite, MFK L'homme a la rose - a light, not too sweet very fresh rose perfect for this weather
Oh and I nearly forgot - Matiere Premiere radical rose, strong rose for all seasons and possibly my favourite rose of all time.

I can't remember any rose in the perfume society essence box - lots of oud and citrus though. There was palatine which is floral but more a violet.

having a floral phase - tuberose, orange blossom, vanilla and sandalwood.

if I didn’t have 30+ fragrances to work through - I’d purchase a big bottle.

Valaya for me too- not that fussed about it usually but it’s very pleasant today.

I’m sure perfume society or bloom would do a rose pack. Otherwise the Byredos are very nice roses (3 I think all with the word rose in it), La fille de Berlin, yardley, body shop British rose and portrait of a lady. I have travels or testers of those.

MFK Kurky today, I had a small sample which is fast disappearing. This is light, fresh, sweet and fruity. I don't think I'd want it all the time but is nice on occasion.

Atelier des Fleurs Sous Les Pins today; I still don’t love this one, but it’s definitely better suited to hot weather. The salty pines really do remind me of hot summers in France, and it’s pleasingly un-sweet.

Moved to La Bomba by Carolina Herrera. This is another grower, at first I thought it too sweet and it is quite sweet but I seem to have grown accustomed to it and quite like it.

Harrods have released the fragvent calendar contents if anyone is interested. On Beauty Detective. Some decent ones in there although they've put Brompton Immortals in a second year running which is a shame. I reckon they are over stocked as it's a Harrods exclusive, and trying to get rid.

Thanks for reminding me for la bomba. I had busy day (like 20 of them) and bath & pj's & labomba sound dreamy. What are we thinking about the advent calendars so far?

Harrods looks decent. Ive also pre bought the liberty which was a source of much merriment to mr rainbows.

I really like the Harrods. I think it's more feminine leaning than last year's. It's a shame the pdm isn't a different one, I think Valaya and delina+ their extras have been done, so one of the others would've been nicer. That said, I'm ok with having a bigger Delina exclusif 🤣 The Brompton immortals is the extrait version and I quite like the extraits so I'm expecting to like that one. I'm also excited to try the MFK. I hope I can bag one of them 🤞🏻

Is this new scent kit form Liberty? I spotted it this morning, I ordered to to use up credit and cancelled my beauty subscription. I enjoyed it somewhat but between 5gbp delivery on top of extra 10 to get it to Ireland - not enough to justify the monthly feel.

I love Fico D'Amalfi in the summer, but it is very light and need to reapply.

ô de Lancôme today. With a spritz of MG Lemon to pull out the citrus.

wearing Alia Main Character today from Look Fantastic advent. It's lovely, how they really did poor job advertising it - it felt like filler. Very herbal but in refined & expensive spa type of way

I see TK Maxx have Paloma Picasso in stock. I know some parfumistas here are fans.

I’m currently trying to decide if I’d like my old favourite which I’m nearly out of - Hermes 24 Faubourg or try Chloe Atelier des fleurs Cedrus as a birthday gift. Which would you go for?!

Or I may try to track down the discontinued Narcisso Forever which had people following me in shops to ask what I was wearing. Why do they discontinue all the lovely ones?!
