@IDontHateRainbows I have a 10 ml of Kurky. It's lovely, was one of the scents I fell for on last year's London birthday trip. I keep meaning to get it out of the box it's in upstairs. I've not worn it for a while as I keep forgetting about it.

I didn't realise it came in 10ml, where did you get it from?

There are various 5mls on ebay but they go down fast...

Vinted. I think quite a while back (year or two) they gave out 10ml as a gwp with a full size perfume. It was one of those lucky finds as I don't think that size is easily available. I did pay quite a bit for it though - around £30 + irrc. As I very nearly splurged on a full bottle at the time it seemed worth it.

Edit to add - it was actually 11ml and I paid £40 plus postage 😬

id love to join in. I’m spritzing a lot to try and make some room for advents.

Flora Danica - Turn the Page.
I really like how it’s settled and doesn’t feel
too heavy for a hot day.

JoRaRaRa · 10/07/2026 15:38

I've gone for Ellis Brooklyn vanilla salt today. I was fancying a strong vanilla but I didn't want anything too heavy, so this was the compromise.

Lurkingshark · 10/07/2026 16:29

Ooh I love turn the page! I bought a second off linked in.

neroli nasimba crivelli- was too much neroli in spring but lovely on the heat- like walking around in a summer evening in a fragrant garden. ( I may be confusing neroli with jasmine! )

IDontHateRainbows · 10/07/2026 18:25

L'homme a la rose from mfk again. This is the perfect light refreshing rose for a summers day

Another fan of Turn the Page. I’d consider buying a full bottle of that.

Doglover73 · 11/07/2026 09:52

Sotd Hermes Barenia sample. Not me and doesnt last long. Virtually gone now.

SummerLimes · 11/07/2026 10:31

Acqua Di Palma Colonia

Perfect summer day fragrance.

Trying out Montale Holy Musk today from the Harrods set. I've never tried this brand before. I like it - reminds me a little of Valaya but I'd probably go for Valaya over this. So far this has been a pretty good set.

I wasn't so sure about that one. I have enjoyed the ones in the harrods fragvent calendar, Arabians Tonka and rendez vous.

Best so far for me is ex nihilo lust in paradise extrait which I'm currently wearing.

I'm wearing Kayali, Marrakesh in a bottle, orange blossom, which is nice for a sunny day. Which is great except that it's clouded over here in Norfolk!

IDontHateRainbows · 11/07/2026 17:42

Sotd is pure musc blanc by narciso rodriguez. I was on the fence with this originally but it grew on me. Its a musky clean laundry scent. A fairly easy wear. I am intrigued by laundry scents, this is lovely for summer and office friendly.

I really like this. It's probably one of the easiest 'no perfume' perfumes I own. If that makes sense.

It's a bit different to the iso-e-supers like not a perfume that always seem a bit lazy to me, like the perfumer has just chucked in a load of chemicals (looking at you, escentric molecules) - it has a clean, fresh aldehydic soapy scent with a bit of musk.
I thought it was too soapy at first but I'm getting in to it.
More soap than laundry detergent, like acne studios or blanche. There's a distinct difference!

I am forgoing scent today, I’ve got a styling session at John Lewis and don’t want to make the clothes smell, no matter how lovely the one I choose!

When I get home I might choose something for evening…

MotherWol · 12/07/2026 11:16

@IDontHateRainbows @OvaHere I liked Musc Blanc too, it reminds me a lot of Dove soap, in a no perfume, just clean kind of way. I can see myself returning to it next Spring.

SOTD today is the last of the Reverie de Bergamote, which has grown on me over the course of this sample. At first the bergamot seemed overpowered by the vetiver, which comes off as quite masculine leaning to me, but I've come to enjoy it much more.

IDontHateRainbows · 12/07/2026 13:33

Replica from the garden today: great photorealistic tomato leaf scent great for hot weather

Alao: sunset hour. This is sipping cocktails by a private pool in a country estate as the sky turns orange.

Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia today. Meeting friends later and wanted something safe. This was a GWP and it’s nice. Fruity floral. I can’t smell the pear, but there’s rhubarb, rose and freesia. Lasts quite well on me.

OvaHere · 12/07/2026 14:16

Dior Paradise again today. I've probably only got one more wear left in the tiny sample. I really like this.

I have a mini of this which isn't selling and I'm pondering keeping it for personal use. I was hoping it would be quite pear-y. How does it compare to delina if you know that one, as a fruity rose? Worth keeping?

Air of Aquarius pre gym - snells like air freshener on me- now used up.

Ex Nihilo Lust in Paradise- really like,

RoseTeaLady · 12/07/2026 20:42

@IDontHateRainbows I have a small bottle of Delina at home. Will do a comparison tomorrow and let you know!

RoseTeaLady · Yesterday 18:24

@IDontHateRainbows Wore the Delina and the Jo Malone today. The English Pear & freesia is lighter and fresher. I could identify the pear this time on spraying, but the dry down is a soft rose petal on me. Stayed close to the skin and had faded after about 6hrs. Delina is stronger and musky on the dry down. Still going after nearly 8hrs. I like both.
