With my new improved finances ive bought one of last years liberty scent kits off ebay. The one with dear polly, perfumer H and vanilla powder if anyone remembers. Not sure how they survive the past 18 months or however long it is intact.. maybe the seller put it away and forgot.

I will still sell half as it'll be ones I already have or don't like. Looking forward to the dear polly.

I don't think we will see these scent kits again now liberty has moved to the 4 in a box style. Although plenty of those still left so maybe not selling well?

I doused myself in Mojave Ghost Absolu today - big office so nothing too strong or out there perfume wise and this is perfect. Despite spraying a lot, like all byredo it whispers rather than shouts.

There's shops near this office (dangerous) and it's my lunch break (double dangerous)...

Also got notifcation that the Harrods scent seeker is en route with DPD. Originally I was thinking to list 2/3 on ebay to justify purchasing it but now I could decide to keep all of it. They do say money gives you options.....

Still on the Byredo theme, alto astral. This is a lovely summer scent, coconut water but aldehydic, fresh laundry esque scent.
Resisted buying any more frag today. Think I've got enough for now with the Harrods scent set on order + the liberty scent kit I found on ebay. And of course the new Mojave Ghost Absolu.

@IDontHateRainbows Alto Astral is one of my absolute favourites. At some point I’ll have to try some more Byredo….!

This evening I am wearing Jo Loves Pomelo and I smell like a herby grapefruit. I may use the rest of the sample as a loo freshener!

Not a fan of the pomelo. I found it too sharp.

I did buy more but only samples. 3 ds and durga samples from small aromas:

Steamed Rainbow
Concrete after lightning
Crush Balls

All experimental scents. Particularly looking forward to Concrete after lightning. Wanted Steamed Rainbow a while.

Only 3ml each but they aren't cheap by the ml or I'd have got more.

Congrats on the win @IDontHateRainbows I got that liberty set with the Perfumer H - it was an interesting one and they are still going for me.

I was away and went to Byredo, Mat Premiere and le labo shops for a sniff fest, plus duty free. Nothing new to add but crossed some off. I smelt the new matiere premiere lavender one- opening was weird but lovely dry down. The discovery set was cute. IRL own brand shops were very nice and not snotty.

I'm wfh today awaiting my Harrods scent seeker tote which hopefully is out for delivery. Means I can have a proper play with some frag. Meanwhile I've put on Mojave Ghost Absolu - making the most of my new bottle - and it really is the most beautiful and delicious scent. It's sweet but not over powering, only Byredo know how to this impactful but gentle scents. Hubby was aghast when I told him the price of a bottle (not in a you shouldn't have bought it way just suprised how much they are) but it's totally worth it to me. Maybe I should have bought the 100ml but that would have meant breaking the £200 barrier for a single bottle which is a step too far even with my new found riches.

I think I will see this in my harrods scent kit which arrives today. I like the edp, not had the extrait yet (except in the liberty sniff sesh and I tried that many in a short time I really can't remember)

SOTD Beauty Pie La Botanista, I feel like this is a fragrance that really shines in hot weather. The green tomatoes, astringent green geraniums feel like walking into a greenhouse on a scorching midsummer day. In spring it's almost too aggressive, but in a heatwave it's perfect!

SOTD CH Good Girl Blush. It's a nice scent, fairly inoffensive but I don't think I would re-buy this one. I've realised I don't love most scents that are cherry smelling.

Tried lust in paradise extrait from the harrods set and it is lovely.

Wasn't so keen on the montale holy musk or the fdb rude oud elixir so will list them
I already know I like safran secret, looking forward to trying the other crivelli and the BT extrait. And the bibbi deep lotus.

As for SOTD, Santal Austral Extrait from the mat prem discovery set. I'm a massive fan of this house.

I’m enjoying Jo Malone English Oak and Redcurrant. It doesn’t last but I like it very much. Sadly disconned now so I have to eke out what I have left…

SOTE is Discothèque Lola at Coat Check. Woody vanilla with a citrus opening. Comforting dry down. I like this very much.

Tried the zara baccarat rouge dupe, red temptation. Lovely it is and longer lasting than i thought it would be for a dupe.

Also lust in paradise, its one of those rich creamy florals.

I've not worn scent much this week other than body spray due to combo of heat and just being busy.

Trying out Bibbi Deep Lotus from the Harrods scent kit today. Surprisingly I really like this. I've not really loved any other Bibbi scents and recently passed them on to another MNetter.

It's a slightly leathery fruity scent but not too cloying.

Sotd Dior Blooming Bouquet

MFK Kurky today which I really like. I thought it would be too sweet - there is a children's version of this which is the same as the original but less harsh chemicals (presumably for very rich children! No way would my kids be getting a bottle of MFK!) but it's quite gentle and not too sweet. It's the same vibe as something like sunset hour but different notes. Love it!
