Swimming pool today, seemed appropriate weather. I have a love hate relationship with this perfume, I love the concept and how it conjures up the image of diving into a natural outdoor pool with herbacious gardens, but it gives me a headache if I huff it too much and it's a bit minty on first spraying.

Did you manage to get it to add?

SOTD Rare beauty find comfort mist - I love this but may switch to a fresher smell tomorrow for the heat.

SOT evening is radio bombay. This one was a grower but i do like it. Woody wiht metallic effects. Sounds yuk but smells yum!

Doesn't add for me either 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ex nihilo outcast blue extrait this morning, the sample is nearly out and I'll be sad when it is as this is a lovely scent, one of their best. From the liberty woody set although I'm not sure id describe it as woody myself. There's some oud in there and I'm not usually a massive oud fan but I do like this.

I've been revisiting the Harrods FAC, people on the beauty chat will know that I've been predicting what will be in this year's, so today I've gone for Floraiku sand and skin. It's so perfect for sunny days, it captures that holiday fantasy perfectly, sunkissed skin, walking barefoot in the sand, sea air and feeling relaxed 🌅☀️⛱️

SOTD is Drop D'Issey Essentielle, fragrantica describes it as a floral aquatic, and it makes me feel like a frog on a lilypad. Might make it scent of the week as it fits this hot, humid weather perfectly.

Trying escentric molecules escentric 01 which was in the selfridges frag edit. It's woody, musky, slightly citrussy. A bit too strong on the citrus but only just sprayed, let's see how it dries down

I’m wearing Swimming Pool. I do love the green-ness of it.

I have used this as well today, all the talk of Harrods advent made me have a look through what I have and remember I loved this and was saving it for summer so seems appropriate as we are sweltering down south

SOTD was PDM Valaya. Perfect summer scent and also from the Harrods advent.

Didnt like the first time I tried it but do todsy but doesnt last long.

Wild card sotd portraits of Portofino from the selfridges 2nd edit. Quite zingy but well blended probably won't make it into my top favorites but refreshing as a change on days like this.

SOTD is Vilhem’s Basilico & Fellini. The basil is strong and there’s a mintiness there too. Bit of aniseed and green fig. And grass. There’s a lot going on here, but it’s very refreshing on such a hot day.

Tried B +F after @RoseTeaLady mentioned it. It is certainly nice for a hot day. I do like basil. This also has some mint, it's reminiscent (a little) of swimming pool although less strong.

I really fancy some tea scents today - possibly because ideally there'd be a lovely jug of fresh iced lemon tea right in front of me right now. I have a tiny bit of dear polly left, and also the similar but not quite as good MH Tea Tonique. Will wait for B+F to dry down - it's becoming less minty and more basilly. Liking it .

Agree re the tea scents. Might be time to break out the Dear Polly.
