I just put some dear polly on the other arm - and tea tonique to compare. Tea Tonique not a patch on Dear Polly - really no comparison. It's ok in its own right but a bit too sharp and citrussy .Dear Polly is lovely, very moreish, very huffable . I have about 1ml left.The lemon is nicely softened by a bit of apple I think. And lots of tea.

Decided B+F was not my favourite. I struggle with the minty ones I think.

Sticking with the Harrods FAC theme, I've gone for bdk gris charnel today which also links in a bit with the tea theme going on 🙂 I really liked this one so it's now a fs bottle in my collection 🥰

DKNY woman again today

Lovely scent. One of those where the EDP is better than the extrait, which I found too deep/dark/strong whereas the EDP is comforting and warming

MG lemon. And a bit of a Le Labo one. Maybe thé vert.

The Basilico & Fellini wore off after a couple of hours so I had a couple of spritzes from M&S (went in ostensibly to shop, but actually for the air con) new Studio range. Vanilla Silk; nothing special. Just a pleasant gourmand vanilla. Wouldn’t buy. Sheer Musk; soft floral musk. Lovely scent, but I have a lot of musk perfumes!

I got these off notino. Arrived today. We're recommended on her by someone. Sorry cant remember who. I love citrus scents. Also got sone curly hair products.

Ô De Lancôme today

Impressed with Escentric Molecules Escentric One - not usually a fan of Escentric as it's so heavy on the Iso E Super but this is quite light and refreshing perfect for the time of year.

SOTD is SJ Air of Aquarius. Reminds me of Berber Blonde, but this is lighter, fresher and herbal. It’s giving me nostalgic 4711 vibes.

Blue talisman extrait Ex Nilhilo for me. From a pre Christmas edit? I love it. I can’t describe it but it’s sweet and woody and fruity (pear says the notes) and floral.

Maison margiela replica from the garden. Lovely for hot weather. The best tomato leaf scent.

What are everyone's hot weather faves? I'll go first... enjoying freshies such as the aforementioned from the garden, coriander by DS&DURGA, swimming pool and vyrao sun Rae. Also Alto Astral. And Radio Bombay.

No time for oud/ gourmand/ nut scents in this weather. Also gone off rose a bit.

I can’t decide! Def on the fresher greener side but I’m liking green roses ( yardley cheapy, diptyque) and cologne-y ones ( Loewe, granado)

The best thing is being able to change at least twice a day! I’m going to rip through samples at this rate!

My hot weather scents are Hermes Un Jardin sur le Nil and Tocca Lucia. I’ve got Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt on today though.

I’m enjoying Kilian Roses on Ice, lovely fresh cucumbery light rose, it doesn’t last for long at all (on me) so getting through a lot of it this week

I wore NR Pure Musc Blanc again today. Lovely in this weather. Could be tempted by another bottle if i get through the 10ml and it's not a really expensive one. It's a fresh Cedarwood, laundry type scent.

Ex Nihilo Speed Legends Night Drive Eau de Parfum

• Top: Bergamot, Sage, Pink Pepper, Red Ginger
• Heart: Black Currant, Cistus
• Base: Vetiver, Tonka Bean, Amber Woods, Patchouli

Not sure I'll like this based on the notes but will try to get to a store to sniff it.

I tried that in Liberty as part of the sniffing sesh. Seem to remember it as nice but not remarkable. Hard to remember as must have tried around 25 different ones.

Tried that and found it very soapy, more in a bar of dove than tub of Persil way. Wasn't for me.

Moved on to Alto astral..lovely summer scent..aldehydic, slightly sweet slightly salty. Coconut water vibes.

Crack on! Very light hearted no rules fragrance chat.

I it may get a bit serious once the fragrance advent calendars come out….
