Lookfantastic scent edits

M&S have just released a crop of new fragrances in the Studio collection; I've not smelled any of these but the discovery set at £12 is very affordably priced

SOTD Vanille Supermassive, Les Eaux Primordiales. This one surprised me - I like that it's not a "gourmand" vanilla, but is woodsy / herbal / "savoury". Ironically a couple of the other fragrances in the LEP discovery set surprised me in the opposite direction. Amber supermassive and Cedre Superfluide are much sweeter and fruitier than I was expecting (to my disappointment!).

Chloe vanilla planifolia today which i love, went through a fb last year. Got a 9ml sample from perfumista for £25. Fave sample place.

Its a green fresh leafy take on vanilla...yum

Ô de Lancôme layered with Mary Greenwell Lemon. Both dissipated a lot now. But so lovely and fresh while they lasted.

I’m going to have to top up with some of my own blend chypre #3 for the afternoon.

Honestly, anyone interested in scent would probably love the 4160 Tuesdays scent-day…I had a brilliant time and made a wonderful fragrance.

Prada Infusion de Fleur L’Oranger today.

I tried Debaser again. I love a green scent but blimey its very green! Not sure

Chasing sunsets MM. I wanted to like this more than I do ..... mango, sandalwood... somehow it doesn't quite pull it off. OK as a sample

I've been spritzing the Monotheme lemon. Its lovely but lasts about 5 minutes.

Yesterday was Vyrao Free 00. I love this (light citrus then floral vanilla) but it lasts no more than an hour on me. So I layered it with SJ Sandalwood Temple. Result! A good 6 hours.
Today I’m sporting Jo Malone Orange Marmalade. I have to be in the mood for this one - wears a bit like a men’s cologne on me.

Succumbed and got the lf fruity gourmand set, I thought I'd definitely use sunset hour and banana Rush.

Combined with the father's day edit to take £15 off so £30 each, brilliant value and arrived 12 hours later free delivery can't beat that.

Sotd Miss Dior. Not lasted long though 🤔

I love the original but find the new really sweet.

I went for a triple layer this morning! Lannosea and Vanilla Powder topped with Mary Greenwell Lemon. It was a really nice wear, they all complemented each other. Mostly faded now but I enjoyed it v much.

Trying sunlit vanilla. Hmmmm... reminds me a bit of plur honeymoon somehow but with vanilla instead of honey. I'd describe it as pleasant. A safe blind buy. Nothing earth shattering but... pleasant.

Yes, I agree, they're very similar, give off the same vibe 😍 I really like both.

Xerjoff torino 21 for me today, I've been out hiking and it's ok for that, I'm not a massive fan of it but I do love the little bottle 🥰

sprayed the elie saab men sample on my situationship, and spent the afternoon sniffing him and lecturing him on not rubbing his wrists together. He’s taken a few samples home

Nice but not very long lasting on me. An hour at best. So have been spraying liberally. 😅

Ganymede today - lovely saffron scent. Also got another parfum muse goodie bag. Have realised the deal works if you just buy a gift card, and you can then use the gift card to make another purchase therefore getting 2 x goody bags for the price of one.

Mine did.. I just searched e gift card, its a tenner, and it added to basket and added the goodie bag. Once purchased i received the gift card by email straight away and purchased an item with it and again got a goodie bag.

Makes me wonder if they've realised the hack and stopped it working....
