Those awful Timotheee Chalamet style ratty moustaches on everyone. Yuk.

Bumfluff 😀

Thong bikini bottoms 🤢

I agree. Even on a peachy bum, I think they look tacky.

We went away earlier this year and saw some absolute sights. I don’t understand showing off every inch of a big fat arse converted in cellulite. It attracts attention, but in the wrong way. I could see couples nudging each other to look and snigger. I even saw one woman surreptitiously take a photo of one, no doubt to share with others. ☹️

Middle aged, shirtless men with paunches, wearing football shorts, seemingly without pants, which sit under the paunch and display a hint of arse crack.

I didn't realise that "tarty" was on the list of verboten words these days.

Maybe you could direct your ire to the PP who just referred to women as "bitches," if you're the word police.

Not “word police” but l do think on a largely womens’ site misogynistic language should be avoided. And yes, l said the say about bitches up thread. I’m not a pearl clutcher, say fuck if you want to, it’s an adult site, but why not avoid male created sexism. Women are called enough names as it is.

But I called the clothes tarty. Just the clothes.

I hate it when women are called bitches. It's such a vicious word.

Open toed anything.... even 'nice' feet give me the heebie jellies! Feet are grim, keep your toes to yourself please 😂😂

I was in the pharmacy today and an older gentleman came I wearing shorts and a t-shirt, fine, but he was also wearing flip-flops and had the most awful feet! Yuk!

I think it's more vicious to liken women to those selling their bodies as prostitutes or wet nurses, to raddled old dairy cows, saying their feet are disgusting, saying their cellulite is disgusting, going on about them having hair on their backsides, saggy breasts or that they are fat and nobody wants to see them/those clothes are only for youngsters/perfect figures/prostitutes/easily bought (the low rent term refers to how much their sexual services would cost) - and all the other insults that have been slung at women in this thread.

Why is “elegant” the default desire? Some people want to look cool and trendy without giving a fuck about elegance 😂

Well it's not true anyway. If you think about elegant wedding guest dresses, most of them are summer dresses.

This is gross people have no shame

Your attitude is gross.
Like I said, I go to the chiropodist, but still have ugly feet.
My face is ugly too, but I'm not going to cover it.
My feet only come out when it's genuinely hot.

Bluedenimdoglover · Yesterday 21:10

No shirts/T shirts - except on the beach or by the pool.

I agree, and not everyone can afford to throw away clothes and shoes that are no longer 'on trend' each year.

Typically, summers in the UK are short and cool , and many women don't buy new clothes that are only worn from May- Sept. We have had summers in the UK where it was almost impossible to get out of winter clothes till June.

Many women prefer to invest in clothes that can be worn 8 months of the year, rather than something that might get worn for a few weeks when it's hot.

I know loads of women who say they 'can't be bothered' with summer clothes. So that is why in some people's judgement they are wearing dresses or shoes that are 'dated.

Edited

I've got summer dresses about 30 years old. One is from Hennes for example, before it became H&M.

Maybe you do not realise what you are doing. You are talking about people being very offensive and women putting each other down . You then talk about, pale freckled, Celtic skin as it’s some kind of disease.

I don't consider having Celtic-type colouring to be a disease in any way whatsoever! And how on earth you have interpreted that from my post I fail to understand ...

I'm Irish, & love my own pale skin & freckles, & my red hair. But pale freckled skin is more sensitive to the sun than other skin types, so I take care of it by wearing factor 30 on my face every day & 50 on my body if I'm in hot sunshine. I am merely being sensible?

Mykneesareshot · Yesterday 21:13

Three quarter length shell suit type trousers on a certain type of man, usually with a football team tattoo on the calf.

MoiraRosesBebes · Yesterday 21:17

Skinny,pale legs on men.
Also people's toes hanging over and gripping the front of their sandles/flip-flops/slider.Makes me feel physically sick.

ApolloandDaphne · Yesterday 21:19

Linens trousers a top and Birkenstocks are my ideal summer wear. I don't really give a fuck what anyone thinks of them. As a hot sweaty 60 something I feel I've earned the right to wear whatever I please.

TemporarilyCantDoMyself · 25/05/2026 15:40

Shirtless blokes. Every single time.
Leave the women alone! 😂

This. Always with a pot belly too.

I'm fat but I am also extremely short so I will continue wearing crop tops because they fit me proportionally.

Yes, but then they're not cropped on you, are they?

I wear cropped jeans, but with my short legs they cover my legs so not actually cropped or ankle length on me.

It’s not actually illegal for women to go topless in public. We just don’t do it because the sexual harassment would be awful. We would probably also be live-streamed somewhere. 😢

I think it can in theory be illegal. As far as I understood it, obscenity laws mean your appearance can be considered obscene if people complain and the police agree with them.

I go topless at the beach and in my garden. But what happens in my garden and at the beach stays there.

l was UK born but because of dad’s job brought up in France. Mum, sister and l all went topless at the beach. Oh, so did dad! 😀

No no, calling women wet nurses (?) for the audacity of having their boobs more visible in 30+° weather, and calling women "aging dairy cows" says a huge amount about you.

As a farmers daughter I disagree. A wet nurse paid to feed a baby is less misogynistic than saying someone looks like a woman paid to get men aroused ( page 3, Katie Price etc).
I remember happier days when topless sunbathing was mainstream. Zero need for coy material hinting at the “wrongness” of breasts.
Annoying we’ve gone backwards. We also didn’t have bikini waxes. Shock horror we all had lots of sex with black hair on our bum cheeks.
