A typical sight here in Germany: mostly elderly men bare chested wearing shorts and sandals with socks on bikes - quite often with some sort of radio attached to the bike.

Nothing wrong with a maxi dress. It covers the skin that so many others on here are complaining about seeing, prevents sunburn far better than suntan lotion, they're cooler because of air flow and because the sun isn't beating directly upon the legs as they would with shorts, somebody would be bound to complain about varicose veins being visible, others are complaining about jeans, others about cropped trousers, others about closer fitting clothes...

At least the one thing that would hopefully be exempt from judgement would be wearing suitable footwear. But no, there's complaints about trainers, complaints about not pretty enough sandals, then there's complaints about how disgusting it is to been seen to have feet.

What's the solution to being female and not physically perfect or being too perfect but letting people see it? Seems to be that the only way to avoid people complaining about being able to see their bodies/not being able to see their bodies/seeing too much of their bodies/not seeing enough of their bodies is to shut themselves indoors as though they don't exist.

Badly applied orange fake tan. You can just use a few drops and mix with a moisturiser. Looks so much nicer.

I'm in the ban topless bloke camp and I think they should be banned on public transport. Being stuck in a packed tube train, wedged up against some guy's manboobs is not for me.

Yes this is what I joined thread to say! Above the knee shorts yes, summery linen trousers yes, but those 3/4 trousers that are usually also cargo trouser or outdoorsy in style - I just can't take men seriously who wear them. They look like giant toddlers. Weirdly women in 3/4 trousers don't though, they often look great.

Skin which is burnt to a crisp. Tanned skin which is like leather. Sweaty hair - male or female.

Shirtless men in denim shorts (or just generally shirtless men anywhere other than by a pool or on the beach!)

Anything too small for the person wearing it.

Topless men, unless they're amazingly buff, in which case fill your boots. Apart from the oik who aggressively slammed himself into the golf buggy seat opposite me and DH when we were on honeymoon and eyeballed DH as if asking what he was going to do about it. We laughed so hard.

I am also all for banning the topless males no need for it at all. I live in a seaside place and the sights you see because people are on holiday. Especially heinous in a certain older age group who seem to think the shortest of shorts and shoes are fine to nip to the local shop

Women wearing cheap looking mstching vest and trousers made of slightly shiny crinkled polyester fabric, especially in a nude colour and if the wearer is overweight. Shows every lump and bump.
