Time for another thread. Spring and Summer releases are trickling out to tempt us AND the advent calendar waitlists are appearing...hope you are all feeling suitably Christmassy. 😂

I managed to order it - if you search for it as a product, add to basket and then your beauty spend and go to check out you should see it becoming free.

I’ve tried searching for it but just can’t find it. The only thing that comes up close is the summer glow box. I’m thinking they have removed it because it’s sold out.

Hmm I can’t see it on the app now either - might just be glitchy as just launched? I’d try in the am. It looked good but can’t imagine it sold out in a few hours even with other discount running

@JoRaRaRa also glad Harrods gwp has sold out. I did toy with 2nd one due to the sale.

I've successfully walked away from an impulse Olive Young basket this evening after they helpfully reminded me I have £11.50 in vouchers expiring today.

However, the free postage threshold is £60 otherwise shipping is £25. So I decided spending close to £50 on things I don't need just to not lose the points was stupid. I am slowly getting better at being sensible. Bye bye points. 👋

I also decided I didn't want to break my k beauty site no buy. I want to make it to a year as it's the only 2026 resolution I've properly stuck to.😂

PSA with anyone with votary stuff in stash, I think it goes off. The radiance peel I have smelled a bit stale. Inspired by @JoRaRaRa i used it on my legs, luckily there was enough for both 😂. I had the radiance peel for a long time though. I wonder if the heat made it separate actually.

June tomorrow! I was looking at my notes on ACs in 2025, First AC reveal was 23rd June. First luxury reveal was 2nd July. I think I would like to buy some blind, but then what will I post about all summer!?

I was moaning earlier in the week about problems with the JLGWP. In the end it didn’t show up in my rewards section until today – why they staggered it out like this who knows? Then you had to add it to the basket and it was deducted to check out but they did not make it easy at any stage but there were things I wanted from JL. In the meantime, i did an order from SEPHORA for some of those things, but I will now send them back.

I don't think I could blind buy. The fear of getting it 'wrong' would keep me awake! It's bad enough when I've read the contents a million times then have to choose.

The acs are too expensive for me to blind buy. I did start the liberty bd to blind buy the calendar this year but I've kept spending my credit so I think I only have about £80 and it'll probably come out next month. I have my checklist, and they get brownie points for how many they tick off 🤓 plus my spreadsheets that I actually love doing so I'd have to miss out on all of that. It is scary though to think that in 2 months we'll be getting ready to fight for the Harrods FAC again 🙈🤣

At least I am safe from the Harrods fragrance calendar temptation given my dislike of 99% of niche perfumes!

I joined Liberty BD to save for the calendar. I won’t have enough saved up when it launches due to only joining last summer, but am happy to add the balance. However, if it is really not for me I will roll it over until next Xmas.

I liked Liberty Xmas 25 on the whole, but heartily disliked almost all the perfume. (I did manage to sell some, albeit for peanuts!)

I'll definitely be focussing my energies on the Harrod's FAC - I'm determined not to miss out like I did last year - I was stuck doing a 5 hour drive home when they released it a day early so missed all the excitement on here and was gutted. I'm vaguely considering making it my only calendar purchase this year but I thought I might swerve getting a BAC the last 2 years and that didn't happen so 🤔😂

If I'm lucky enough to get my hands on the fac, I don't plan to save it til December again 🤣 I feel like I haven't used the fragrances enough. Though saying that, I did use Valaya today. I'm not sure I'll be doing a Frankenstein calendar again, as much as I loved doing it, I became a bit too obsessed with it. I think I'll just let someone else (like Harrods or Spacenk) do it all for me 🤣

I also haven’t used a lot of the fragrances from last year’s Harrods FAC but I also got the Jo Malone advent for Christmas which had lots of fragrances so I have a lot to get through! I was saving some (like Valaya and the Roja one) for summer. Do I need another one? Most definitely not, but I bet I still try to get this year’s as soon as it is released!

I am also saving my Liberty credit in case I am wowed by their advent, but if Harrods is good again then I might gravitate towards that, and I could also be tempted by Space NK. 😳

Winner for me last year was Harvey Nicks - and I think they overstocked as it went down to a really reasonable price in December.

Did you get the fragrance or beauty calendar?

Part of the enjoyment is evaluating and watching the unboxing videos for me. I didn’t get one last year as I decided on Harrods too late! I will this year unless there’s really nothing.

one of the issues is there are just so many good discounts Nov time…good kits etc.
