Showing my age a bit here, but “in the old days” (ie 20 or so years ago) we used to have fairly regular MN meet-up events in London, which were huge fun (sometimes a bit too much fun…not many venues can cope with an influx of 50+ MNers!!).

With a few needing some in person beauty retail therapy, I was thinking that a S&B GWP trip to Libertys, Carnaby St & Selfridges could be really fun, and also quite dangerous, especially if it ended with cocktails in the fabulous Selfridges bar!

The CB gwp is live. I’m not feeling this one. Maybe it’s because it’s hair care and I still have 3 of the SNK hair gwp unopened or maybe I’m cured of being unable to resist a gwp. I have £50 in credit with CB so I’m quite surprised I haven’t just jumped straight in. For now I’m waiting for something better to come along.

I'm not interested in the CB gwp. Not a fan of tiny hair products generally.

I'm sure you'll all be relieved to know I didn't buy the LE Highlighter. I did buy the Chanel foundation as Boots had it on offer and I was able to get another £5 in points back.

100% 5* reviews on TP, from reviewers with only 1 or 2 reviews to their name, which is always a red flag for me.

I also don’t believe every single customer is so ecstatic- for context, SK’s reviews on TP are appalling!

Annoyingly, SK have raised their limit for free UK shipping from $60 to $80. That’s a very big jump and I have not ordered the stuff I was going to buy today.

However, they do have a brilliant sale on of make up and skincare.
