Time for a new thread, our first in a MN Community Group. We've chatted and purchased beauty bargains so much we've become a literal tribe! 😂

In other news PLouise was out of the gate with ridiculous speed announcing the first advent calendar waitlist in April.

In celebration I thought I'd try out a poll. It runs for 7 days, there was only 6 options so comment in the thread for those that come under 'Other'.

I’m quite impressed with myself for stopping at 2 YSL blushes as I love them. I only didn’t get the Gucci because of my CB debacle. And I’m not yet a fan of crème ones so that keeps me somewhat safe

I saw a youtuber report they had the same issue. LE were very good and replaced straight away but it seems to be a weakness in some of them. Although mine was fine.

I'm deliberately ignoring the chat about too much blush as if it doesn't apply to me. Sorry but some of these are rookie numbers. 😳😬😂

I think i have about 8 or 9 if you include the beauty light wand half blush half highlighter things.

I’ve got approx 10 plus 2 HG palettes. I’m an angel 😇

Edited to say that I went through the remaining contents of last years Boots summer box and found a lovely Bare Minerals highlighter/blush in mauve. I’ve not used that brand before but the colour/shimmer looks lovely

@IDontHateRainbows The 2024 calendar is great. Just take care (or dispose of) with the candle as a safety notice was issued after the flame from the candle was deemed to be dangerous.

In my defence I haven't deliberately purchased all of them. Quite a few are from edits, AC or gwp. I've even sold quite a lot that have come in that way.

I am a sucker for blush, probably more than anything else. I daren't count but if I include those in palettes, duos and mini sizes I feel like I've probably got around 50. That's me being optimistic - maybe it's more.

I still keeping checking to see if the new Laura Mercier blushes have arrived in the UK yet. 🙄

I’ve just remembered I have some Surratt powder blush I don’t think I’ve ever actually used. I must try those!

Anyway, to change the subject so I'm not dwelling on the enormity of my blush problem I tried the Fenty Gloss Bomb that came in the JL edit.

I don't think I've ever had one of these before and I'm really impressed. It's a LOT like the Dior Maximiser sparkly gloss and it has quite good longevity. I know someone else has raved about them before, think it was @IDontHateRainbows.

I put it over the WA lipstick in Ballerine as Fu$$y is a similar shade. Really nice combo as the WA leaves a decent stain behind so even as they are wearing off you've still got colour plus a bit of sparkle.

I really like Fenty lip products too. I have the gloss bomb and gloss bomb stix in Fussy and RiRi. The sticks are really buttery and they all have great lasting power. Not a brand I thought I'd like so I was surprised!

I've had a couple of things I didn't like - the mascara and a matte liquid lip that was really goopy. As I got them in edits or AC it put me off the brand for a while but more recently I tried their loose powder in Strawberry Milk which I love and now this, so I'm having a slight change of heart.

I have a feeling I've sold on a Gloss Bomb Stix at some point so next time one comes my way I will try it instead of assuming I won't like it.

I have the Fenty gloss stick and gloss bomb in fussy and I really like them both. The gloss bomb is one of the best lip glosses for texture and longevity.

I daren't even count all of my blushers. I know it'll just make me freak out and feel overwhelmed 🤣 I have almost a full drawer of them, I can squeeze in a few more though 💁🏻‍♀️

Hola beautiful friends! I have quite a few blushers but really worry about looking like Aunt Sally, or a clown, if I get it wrong so I always err on the side of caution. I must learn how to apply with confidence!

Hmmmm. Are we counting just blushers, or things that are blusher-adjacent? I have 2 active “real” blushers (LE & WA), 1 incredibly cheap and surprisingly excellent double ended blush highlighter stick thing from Superdrug which isn’t real as it’s just for top ups and emergency travel, and another not-real (ie would never use it on a proper makeup day, but it’s ok for working from home when I just need a bit of a boost) slightly crap double ended one from Boots (which I was hoping would be better than it is). A much loved jelly Rimmel blush, which is the 3rd of 4 I bought when that briefly ran a Korean-inspired jelly makeup line about 8 years ago. Maybe more. It’s pretty solid, time to open #4, if I’m honest. And some ancient red drops from Benefit that terrify the bejeezus out of me and I have never managed to use properly.

I own 1 ancient matt MAC light brown bronzer.
But: I have a pretty bloody good collection of highlighter/sparkley/shimmery powders, sticks, potions and creams. Although some are over 20 years old.

So I can justify new blusher and bronzer. But I may need to continue the clear out 😳

You are all making me feel better about my stash - although, tbf, it’s skincare I have FAR too much of, (oh, and lipsticks 🙀)

I have an HG mini ambient thingy that I use if I’m feeling ‘posh’, the bright orange Sweed blush that came in an edit, (yet to try), a Benefit duo, (again yet to try), an EL blush stick that came in the 2025 blockbuster that I am using without enthusiasm as it’s a weird pink/brown shade, and the Daiso FWEE dupe - which is the one I am using ALL the time.

In the wings waiting I have a FWEE blush, another Daiso dupe and I have put the HG Swan palette bought in the SNK sale away for Xmas 26.

I also have two brand new Clinique chubby stick highlighters that I found whilst organising the horde during the great Stackers/Vlando tidy up of spring 26. They must be ancient and I should probably throw them away.

I also have a brand new EL Bronze Goddess highlighter that should also be binned - I didn’t use it because it was too pretty and have now had it for ages🙀 I might just give it a go this summer so it’s had some use, then retire it to the bin.

I am trying very hard not to buy any more stuff and am doing better with makeup than skincare. I want one of those Zoeva eye pencils but am restraining myself.

The LF Dermatological Edit has gone on early access. I'm quite tempted by this one especially as they are still giving me the subscriber discount so it's £38.25 instead of £45. I probably shouldn't because I'm interested in only about half of it. I've put it in the basket to think about it.

It’s a high spend for not very exciting products. I have the bag from a previous kit. I was kind of waiting for this too. Maybe Harrods will be better.
