Time for a new thread, our first in a MN Community Group. We've chatted and purchased beauty bargains so much we've become a literal tribe! 😂

In other news PLouise was out of the gate with ridiculous speed announcing the first advent calendar waitlist in April.

In celebration I thought I'd try out a poll. It runs for 7 days, there was only 6 options so comment in the thread for those that come under 'Other'.

Please congratulate me on my restraint: I went into SpaceNK today and they were doing a spin the wheel if you spent £40.

They were doing a roaring trade but I restrained myself.

Speaking of allergies: I asked if they had the Kayali pistachio because I wanted to try it before opening the one I got in an edit. The assistant said they weren’t stocking it as one of the staff has a nut allergy.

I had thought - after Googling- that it was an artificial ingredient, not actually nuts - but apparently not. Another one for eBay, then!

I was also impressed that SNK cared about their staff. It’s not always the case that bosses take action.

@Caggie09 and @Fillybuster - I had the same email from SK but then my pink Besties box appeared a few days later. I then got another apology email saying $3 credit had been put onto my account as compensation for the delay.

I am reasonably certain that your orders will appear at some point - they have just been very busy due to their 11th birthday promotion. (I think the demand for the beauty boxes in particular took them by surprise- hence the decision to re-release some boxes from last year as compensation for those who missed out!)

Strange. Maybe it's a browser or app issue.

This is really weird - suddenly my page refreshed and I could see there was a poll. But every time I clicked on it, it threw me back to page one of this thread, with no poll in sight.

I am feeling left out 😿

I don’t have a poll either but that’s because I disabled AIBU polls so probably that’s for everything 😀

For those that can't see it SNK is a long way in the lead. Harrods and Liberty in 2nd and 3rd place.

I’m now lactose intolerant.

It’s very irritating as I used to love cheese but now, all cow, ewe, goat and camel (it was on sale a couple of years ago - I thought it might be ok as it was La Mer levels of spend) 😹 but no.

I went to the York outlet today and they had the Tom Ford eyeshadow quads there, along with various other TF products. They were also offering the additional 25% off @JoRaRaRa @OvaHere

I had planned to get another eyeshadow quad but knocked myself off balance being confused about which one I’d already got last week 😅 I knew it was Haze Sensuality but when I looked at the colours I could have sworn it was Honeymoon. Anyway, there were no others apart from those two that I was particularly drawn to so I resisted. I did buy a highlighter duo though, which is lovely.
Annoyingly, I had intended to take my foundation to swatch so I could compare to some other brands, but I forgot.

I’ve spent way too much money this weekend/this month. I am going to spend some time this week sorting through my stash again as I know there will be some things I need to sell.

Took advantage of the Zoeva 20% off to grab a couple of the eye pencils and then got really excited when I scrolled down the confirmation email to see this at the bottom. Sadly the link took me to page not found and further investigation shows it’s the 2025 calendar. Boo!

I purchased quite a few last year but opened Sephora on the advent thread. I very much enjoyed that one compared to SpaceNk which was my Jadvent. I did go a little overboard last year and had 6 and dh got me another for my birthday. This year I want o stick to 3 with one being a Korean calendar and perhaps Harrods fragrance and then one other.This may well go out of the window but I have some other big purchases planned this year so will at least try.

I’ve just finished my Medik8 Clarity Peptides, I have more but I think I might crack open one of the MZ Bio Placenta and Stem Cell Serums for a change. How is everyone getting on with it? Google says I can layer it under my retinol (Medik8). Is anyone else doing this?
