In other news PLouise was out of the gate with ridiculous speed announcing the first advent calendar waitlist in April.

As I’ve been reasonably restrained on the beauty front, I’ve just bought the Zoeva metallic ice and lavender eye pencils before the offer ends and caved in to the JL YSL love shine £30 offer. Really hoping the nude lavelliere lip suits me an it’s not a waste impulse buy! The candy glow ysl with it looks just look a lip balm in a posh case really. Does anyone else have this set - the reduced from £59 to £30?

Cb chasing the sun edit is live. I’ve ordered just because I love the medik8 serum and the whole kit is cheaper than this serum alone. I also had a £20 gift card (promo code) so I was a bargain for me.

Yes, its a bit of a post summer holidays/ back to achool/ work marking the change in the seasons thing for me now..before September feels weird.

That's another £60 odd quid spent with Dior and it's not even 9am yet 🙈

I went for the tulip case and the 405 Rosy Dior. I was tempted to buy all of the cases but I really need to stop myself, I'm just buying everything at the moment. I might go back though and buy another lipstick with the metal case as that does look quite pretty. The pink case is nice, but I bought the guerlain pink case. I will kick myself if they end up releasing the matching pink bow cushion foundation case in the UK.

I went with Rose Charms and couldn’t decide between the pink and white case so ordered both but plan on returning one…want to see them in real life first before deciding.

I have vouchers but am holding off the sun edit. Not wowing me and have loads of spf to get through. The medik 8 isn't my fave x

I’m so glad that the Medik8 product in the CB sun edit is the B5 intense serum, of which I have approx 4 in my stash! I would have been tempted to withdraw my ban on them (under a different account 🤣)

Thanks for the Dior info @MrsBnow12 I’m off to have a look. Not that I need anymore, but I do love a Dior lip gloss.

@LoveLabradors I have the YSL loveshine duo. I use the Nude Lavalliere all the time, it’s a nice shade. I haven’t tried the Candy glow yet but from looking at it I agree with you that it looks like lip balm, it’s very pale hint of pink.

Rose charms is very pretty 🥰 I was between that one and the one I ended up buying. I also liked coral star and rose sauvage but I picked up la rose from guerlain which is very similar to rose sauvage. I feel like I'm talking myself into buying more 🙈🤣

Has anyone tried both the hydr8 and the hydr8 intense? I've had the hydr8 and like it, it's very simple and doesn't irritate my skin or pill. Probably doesn't do an awful lot, but enough to make me feel like I'm adding a bit of hydration. I have a FS from a Vinted bundle I'm just about to start but I'd consider getting the CB edit to upgrade to the intense if anyone can persuade me it's worth it?

I love the look of the Dior but must stop buying lipsticks!! I bought 3 at the weekend - one Chantecaille and two YSL and have another two Chantecaille ones on their way from Vinted 🙈

I was also torn, I am hoping some of the people follow will have swatches in the next day or so as will help
me decide although definitely do not need anymore lip products

@namechange0998776554799000 i don’t think I’ve ever tried the none intense version (I’m not someone who does moderation 🙈). I used this serum a few years ago and was really impressed and then I’ve tried loads of different serums since and eventually circled back to another medik8 b5 intense serum which I’m just finishing. It’s honestly the only serum that seems to do anything for me. My skin seems brighter and more hydrated but not greasy or sticky and smoother. I don’t get any pilling or irritation. I’m not someone who has sensitive skin, although I do react on occasion if something is too much.

Same 🤣 I really should look at what I already have before ordering anything else. But I don't think I'll do that 💁🏻‍♀️

@namechange0998776554799000 I’ve repurchased the B5 intense many times. I really like it and have had no issues with it at all (some other serums have caused a reaction, though I don’t think I have overly sensitive skin)
I had a break from it for a month or so whilst trying out the peptides serum, but I’ll be going back to the B5 as soon as it’s finished

@LoveLabradors & @Beautyfox I bought the YSL set a while back. Not really blown away by either item, although I do love the packaging: there’s a proper heft to the cases! The nude is ok- ish on me, but a bit pale (despite me being a pale redhead) a lot like the pale browny colours I wore in the 90s before I realised I look better with a more pinky / wine tone. I was hoping the other would be a super pale pink balm, like my NARS one, but it’s basically clear (white) and delivers a high gloss finish. Bit sticky and doesn’t feel at all nourishing. Sorry!

Edited to add: I checked my Sparks offers (which unlike JL I have never used) and they had £10 back on £30 spend ending today, so I’ve bought the glow box 😍 Still eyeing up the cult edit. It’s that or the Boots box. Help me choose!
