I’ve been using Nars radiant longwear for 6 years now & although I like it I’m fancying a change but don’t really know what other good foundations are out there.

Does anyone recommend any particular ones that is similar to Nars? (I’ve used EL double wear before so not that one)

Thanks

Also, but where would you get colour matched if you're not local to London?? My worry is doing it online and it's not accurate enough with the price of it

I agree - luckily I am close to London but for others, it’s a pain. They do stock it in spacenk though - are these only south east???

Space NK do, I've just called my local branch though and they're out of stock. I've put in other brands and got it to colour matched me that way and have fairly consistent 4 Light.

I am going tomorrow to get matched for the Armani Luminous Silk I'm just unsure whether to go with that if I like it or take a gamble on the VB one.

Has anyone tried the pearlescent Cell rejuvenating illuminator? They only have the large size at present but I've seen mixed reviews

I used Charlotte Tilbury for a year which I loved as 1 x £35 lasted me 12 months. I got another bottle, it started to melt off my face.
Then I tried some tinted moisturizers, and found Benefit Porefessional samples were amazing.
So I got a bottle of their foundation and their primer - now that melts off my face too and I've only had it 3 months.
Now I'm at a total loss what to get next, I have £70 worth of foundation sat in my make up bag that just looks awful. I like the full coverage matte finish, and I'm 30, no hormonal changes so I can't understand why it keeps happening.

Try them with a decent primer. I really rate Bobbi Brown Face Base - you don't need much, I use it over my spf/moisturiser. Or the Aldi dupe of this is also brilliant but I have only ever seen it in store once. It does appear near Christmas apparently (not much good now I know).

This website does samples which I've used before- quite spenny for a little sample but much cheaper than buying the whole thing and worth it if you have a specific one in mind https://www.mybeautysamples.com/shop/make-up/foundation

If you're able to get to a city with a Sephora they give you foundation samples for free.

So news just in - I tried the Kiko Milano Love Fusion Foundation today. I'm loving it: it's very light but gives good courage and is buildable - covered my Tolak marks nicely. Lovely sheer glowy finish which has lasted all day. Not too expensive either at around £21, I'll keep the Dior stick for special events but this is really great for everyday.

I really like this brand and the products are great value.

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk. I have never found a better foundation.

Me too. It’s excellent.
