What is your fav perfume and which one have you received the most compliments?

I have used Alien by Thierry Mugler and get a lot of compliments when I use that perfume. I am currently wearing Kenzo and just received one compliment.

I used to love Rose by Paul Smith and got tons of compliments but it’s discontinued now. My Mum used to buy me Anais Anais and I wear it now to remember her. No compliments yet but it smells lovely to me!

Ex Nihilo Fleur Narcotique- lots of compliments from colleagues. husband hates it because he hates all perfume.

Hugo Boss The scent…my favourite is Ralph by Ralph Lauren. Alien gives me headaches too strong for me.

Elegantly Tokyo - Zara. I love this and have had so many compliments about it on school run. Great price too! Like Fashionably London also.

Guerlain Rose Amira, I get a lot of compliments from men especially when I wear it, today in Morrisons on my way to a friends for dinner I asked a guy working there if they had something he showed me where it was and then said "you smell amazing by the way", not the first time someone has said that when I've been wearing it.

Oh God I despise Alien, it's a very divisive scent but the people who hate it probably won't tell you that even though the ones who love it will compliment it.

juicy couture - Viva La Juicy Noir. I would never have considered it but I did one of those favourite scents calculators and I just love the scent of my honeysuckle creepers. This came up, got it and it also has jasmine and sandalwood notes. It has been commented on several times (positively).

Calyx, it was by Perscriptives who long longer exist . I wore it back in the 90’s , I have never had so many compliments from strangers.

Calvin Klein Euphoria. I always get lots of compliments.

I don’t have this but do have Naughty Alice by Vivienne Westwood. It’s nice.

I used to have Chantecaille Frangipani which I liked but not my absolute favourite. I then sold it on eBay and had loads of interest. After I sold it I regretted it!

This is the old 00s one.

My mum and her mum’s favourite perfumes were the original Femme by Rochas. They used to buy it as gifts for the other. Then of course it was reformulated. Luckily we all have a bottle of the original left. I love it. Such a classic. Smells so sophisticated.

Afnan Supremacy Gold (used sparingly). I love it and it constantly gets a lot of positive feedback.

I get the most compliments for this one too! Smells amazing! I tend to wear it during the spring and summer.

In winter I wear Zara’s ebony wood and get lots of compliments again. Although my 19 year old son now wears it and has asked me to stop wearing it lol he doesn’t want to smell like his mum. He says he gets a lot of compliments

I bought black orchid from essence vault and it’s identical not quite the staying power of Tom Ford’s but the smell is exact

I love old fashioned kind of evoactive scents that bring a memory or feeling to mind.... my favourites being Sisley Soir de Lune and Paloma Picasso

I love Baccarat too but I am totally baffled how it's listed as unisex and why a man would use it. For me it's such a very clearly sweet flowery feminine perfume. If a man was smelling of it, I would assume he is smelling of his female partner's perfume.

Paco rabanne Olympea flora intense. Lovely and lasts all day

My favourite which I don’t wear now as it has been discontinued was Flora by Gucci.
Absolutely loved it.

Honestly, I’ve had more compliments when wearing Impulse True Love body spray than I do when I wear YSL Black Opium Over Red, Kenzo Flower or my other favourite Dior J’adore 🤨

Chanel chance au fraiche - perfect for a sunny but breezy spring day, although I sometimes find it a little sharp/unisex on my skin, and I always get at least one compliment when I wear it. Black opium is another one, although this is much derided by some with more sophisticated taste, Prada paradoxe and J’Adore Dior d’eau.

My absolute favourite and most expensive perfume is Cassili by PDM but it never gets complimented! La vie est belle smells devine on others but sadly doesn’t work with my body chemistry.

Unfortunately a lot of fragrances smell like cats pee on my skin. My all time favourite was Very Valentino, now sadly discontinued. I was given an M & S gift set that contained a bottle of Foral Street Arizona Bloom, its not very long lasting but have had lots of compliments when ive worn it.
