What is your fav perfume and which one have you received the most compliments?

I have used Alien by Thierry Mugler and get a lot of compliments when I use that perfume. I am currently wearing Kenzo and just received one compliment.

I love good perfume and have quite a few favourites. But the one I always get compliments on is Frederic Malle’s Portrait of a Lady, never fails to get people saying how awesome I smell, lol.

crysta saffron- Matiere premier

Gucci by Gucci was my absolute favourite perfume but sadly discontinued 😔
I wear Gucci Bloom parfum now and get a lot of compliments when I wear it

DH managed to find me a retro bottle of Magie Noir for Christmas.

Ginger by Cosmetics to go. Sadly no longer available. People used to follow me and stop me to ask what it was. Escentric Molecules + ginger or black.pepper is similar but not quite.

Ive still got a bottle i think. My taste has changed from down and dirty these days.

@Execrgybjkkbgdsxhutdc is it a red bottle???? Something oud? I wanted this around last Xmas anftwr a quick spray on my sleeve annd I could still smell it hours later. it was sold out everywhere!

I love Alien and have been wearing it for years - lots of compliments. At least 2 friends wear it too.

Ive tried all sorts over the years but Ghost always gets the most compliments. Ive been told I smell like a Turkish delight😃

When Eternity first came out i wore it for 15 years and got stopped all the time asking what it was.

Unfortunately Iike others they've reformulated it and its nothing like before..similar but not as nice.

My favourite is Versace Yellow Diamonds intense, but no one ever compliments it and its three times the price of Ghost!

Ive Just found my bottle of Boudoir- about half full. I gave one squirt and my whole room smells like a night out in the early 2000s. Just looked at what it goes for-yikes.

I forgot one - Casmir by Chopard. It's like being smacked in the face with a rag soaked in vanilla but I absolutely love it and do get compliments. It's hard to even wash off, never mind fading away on its own.

Vogue perfume off Amazon costing £5. Everytime I wear it I get compliments snd people ask me what is it.

I have a discontinued rose fragrance by Miller Harris called Rose En Noir which is a very dusky rose - I love it. I got it in TK Maxx - worth keeping an eye out for it. I'm not a fan of rose on the whole but this is a lovely dark, musky one.

Ahh that was where I first smelled Secretions Magnifiques and had to leave the room as I had inhaled deeply over the bed area and it made me want to vomit.

But then it also had my favourite L'Air du Desert Marocain not much later which saved me from running away screaming...

My friend wears Molecule 01 and it really does smell amazing on her. BUT it's basically just Iso E Super which you can buy for a couple of quid. It's a great little ingredient to layer with a perfume that you feel lacks depth.

Oh god I have Timbuktu and I REALLY want it to love me and it just doesn't. On everyone else in the family it smells incredible.

One me it turns to a weird musty smell after a couple of hours - as if I haven't washed and slept outside for a few days (weeks). I have tried it in every season to see if that changes things but no. I wonder if it is the papyrus note and my body just goes "ahh, you'd like to smell like an ancient rotting mummy? Job done."

I still bring it out every summer and give it a go as it is so beautiful on others. I regret this every time.
