Anyone seen any lovely wedding guest appropriate dresses in the shops?

Anyone seen any simple, pretty, NOT backless or strappy or super tight or frilly or dowdy dresses suitable for a wedding guest? Seems a real dearth at the moment. All I want is to wear a bra without it showing, and a simple, chic dress that isn't burgundy, black, brown khaki or otherwise sludge coloured!

There’s absolutely loads on M&S web site! Varying prices but many are very wearable.

I have a similar Whistles dress (same fabric and cut by the looks of it, but different colour and details). Definitely not office! I have worn it for black-tie events. It is lovely.

I too like plain & classic. I wore this to my niece's wedding last summer, but in the bright green. The blue was also lovely on, but the green tipped it. I had gold shoes with a small heel & gold accessories. I intend to wear it with flats to DS's graduation this July. It can do many occasions I think.
