What trainers are you lusting after

Got my eye on the leopard print adidas classics and have seen some converse with like a scarf tie on them too.

Which pairs are on your wish list at the moment?

Something green. I have just got some blue puma palermos from vinted so hopefully they will be in an ok condition and I feel I can justify another pair. I do tend to fall back on addidas or puma so may try something a bit different, possibly these;

Probably not very trendy but I would love a pair of Vejas. I met someone high up in my field wearing some last year and she was so cool and stylish I have a huge girl crush.

Another pair of Adidas Handball Speziale, this time in tan.

Not trendy, but almost all of the colours of these Fitflop trainers. I want several pairs and can’t afford them; can’t decide which colour I like best; buying none of them. 😄

I have the black ones but keep looking at the lighter colours. They are so comfy.

I was going to get the Adidas samba in the black snakeskin but they might be a bit too shiny so went for the burgundy snakeskin ones.

Im interested in how many pairs you all have? I have only got 2 pairs of out trainers, one walking pair (HOKA) yet every outfit i love on instagram has a different pair of cool trainers. Is there a one size fits all? I had plantar fascitis so converse just doesn't work for me

I second this. I hated mine. And then my DB bought me some for my birthday and so was stuck with another pair for some time. They're also weirdly the first pair of trainers where I have slipped and fell wearing them a fair few times.

I would like a pair of the liberty X Adidas ones too.. and the Puma speedcat in burgundy.

I have quite a few - maybe 10? I have quite difficult shaped feet for shoes (high arches, wide at the front but not at the heels, some hyper mobility issues with ankle and knee which mean I can only do low heels). Even loafers and brogues would rub/pinch/fall off. Trainers avoid this for me (and boots too). Plus I like a bit of colour in my outfits. DH now has me on a one in one out policy…

I did read on another thread that middle age women in ‘smart trainers’ are frumpy so that was nice. That said I do tend to wear boots where smart is needed and mostly wear my trainers with jeans/casual outfits which is 75% of my time.

Pumas tend to work best for my difficult feet and I like the slightly less chunky profile of them. Adidas in general too as they are slightly wider. I do have a couple of dupe pairs too - M&S and new look. I am a small size so can get junior sizes, almost always get in sales or vinted too.
