Currently swooning over most things in ME+EM. Why oh why does it have to be so nice but soooo expensive

ive been to the store in Manchester and do have a couple of items but I could literally buy so much more if only I could afford it

does anyone have any cheaper alternative that are just a gorgeous?

I hung it on the wardrobe door so I can keep looking at it!

It looks pretty but at least a size too big.

I think you could do with a size smaller @Tummytroublesagain1. Given that the menopause hasn’t stolen your waist you need to emphasise it.

@Tummytroublesagain1I think the dress looks great, it’s a lovely dress. But I agree with others that you should try a size smaller, it does look big on you.

I’ve just looked on her account and the dress does look amazing on her. I’ll try the smaller size and if I’m happier with it I think I’ll have it taken up just a little bit

OP- I agree with PP’s that it looks lovely but the fit might be better one size down. I always have to go a size down in their tops so imagine dresses are also generous.

As a fellow small person, I have to get almost all dresses I buy taken up. It’s the single thing that makes the biggest difference to how my clothes work.

I agree, although it’s not dragging on the floor it would look much better a bit shorter

My shirt also arrived today. Delighted with it. I ordered a size 12 as they were out of 10s and I’m a bit smaller on top than bottom but it’s a great fit. Sleeves perfect length. I think I’m going to wear it with some black palazzo trousers I have. Hopefully OK for a village hall party.
