When I hear father figure I think of the Geogre Michael song. So makes me like it even though ive never smelt it and have no clue what the scent profile is. 🤣

Today I am wearing one I blended myself in a 4160 Tuesdays class.

I am a chypre girl to my soul and this is called Chypre #3 as it was my third attempt! It’s an all-out screaming chypre which is what I wanted. I can’t recall what is in it, my notes are at home! But it did have some patchouli in there. I’m nearly at the end of this bottle and will be blending some more.

I would recommend the class, it’s a fab day of smells and scent-talk.

After yesterdays posts about Delina I’m wearing Molton Brown Delicious Rhubarb & Rose edp, which apparently smells very similar.

It’s beautiful, another sample that I could easily be tempted to buy a full size bottle.

I have the rhubarb hand cream. Love it. Not a scent I thought id say that about but its lovely.
I possibly have a rhubarb and rose sample although may have given it away before I realised 🤣

I tried Creed Eladaria yesterday. Definitely one for rose lovers. I found the initial rose phase a bit much but the dry down was absolutely lovely, soft and warm and still a bit floral.

Today is Bath & Body Works Inner Angel, which is their dupe for Angels’ Share. Just the body cream, which is strong enough on its own. It’s a pretty good dupe.

Summer Fridays Sunlit Vanilla arrived this morning. I like it. Yes, it's another vanilla but its lasted well. When you first spray the airy notes really hit followed by a creamy vanilla which does initially feel reminiscent of ice cream with a cool breeze.

Later settles down into just vanilla but it has decent longevity, I keep catching a lovely whiff hours later. It's not very strong initially though - I had to overspray (for me) to get the level I was happy with.

The bottle is nice and substantial so I will be taking this one away with me next month.

I wore you reve from the SNK edit this morning. It's nice, but nothing exciting and I'm not sure how often I'll actually reach for it. Same for dedcool mochi milk. I've put on cherry stem for this evening, it's very sweet, but light and definitely my favourite from the gourmand edit 😍

Parfum muse were doing a bag of samples with any purchase offer so I got the cheapest thing I could find which was £10(cheap massive bottle of perfume that I'll probably gift to the tombola at work ) and the bag of samples is massive at least 20 with some new names to try.

They've stopped doing it now unfortunately.

Tried a rosey one from les eaux Primordiales but it's not as good as sone of my other ones so I may wash it off and put something else on.

Montale rendezvous chez harrods, lovely deep oud with spice but it's not harsh, this is how I like oud.

Fragrance du Bois Lucius - one of the few citrussy/zingy frags I like. There's something in the dry down,can't put my finger on what it is but it just takes the edge off the citrus so it's not too harsh. Very moreish.

Wishing Liberty would do a proper perfume edit/bag again, and not the stupid boxes with 4 minis in for around £90. It's been a while. I hope they are still doing them.

I’ve gone for DedCool Mineral Milk this morning. If you’re on the beauty thread you’ll have seen I posted a pic (from Google) of my old Little Mermaid toy, and I feel like this fragrance would be absolutely perfect for mermaids 🤣 fully channeling my inner ariel!🧜‍♀️

Prada Paradoxe Radical Essence today. Not that keen on it but I wanted to finish the 2ml sample.

I cracked and ordered the SNK floral edit. There’s more in it for me than I initially after reading some of the comments here

It’s Chypre #3 again, mainly because it lives in my bag and I forgot to put anything on before leaving for work! But I love it so it’s not a chore!

@Doglover73 I’ve had a successful week on Vinted selling clothes that are now too big so it’s not ‘new’ money I’m spending. Total girl maths logic 🤣

I have received my samples of the new kayali perfumes, I really like them both. I'm not a massive kayali fan, so this has been a surprise. I think the sunshine today is just making me fancy something bright and fruity 🥰

Has anyone tried the new Phlur honeymoon one? I'm so tempted to order the travel size.

My radical rose extrait came today from perfumista, it is lovely but very very expensive so the tiny sample will have to do.
Im also really enjoying Scherzo and in true 'what's the next thing ' fashion now keen to try scherzo extrait.

I'll be taking DD shopping later and a SNK and Selfridges will be within reach, klaxon alert! I have £20 ndulge points from the fragrance edits too.

I wore Spiky Muse yesterday evening, it seemed to disappear very fast on me.

It might be one i pass on to someone.

Managed to avoid buying any more frag whilst out shopping yesterday. Selfridges had loads of the fragrance edits but I've already had that and no hankering for mpre.

I did go to space nk but the ndulge points got spent on makeup instead.

Ive bought a few of the (smaller) fbs lately and the edits from HN, Selfridges, Snk etc so for once no great desire to buy any more.

Experimenting with Miller Harris Tea Tonique - it's a citrus forward tea scent. I do like Tea but not too citrussy. This is quite sharp. Much prefer Dear Polly by Vilhelm. Or Escentric Molecules black tea. Hoping this may go better on a bright summers' day.

I’m pondering what to wear today. It’s a bit grey, I want something warm and cheering.

Any suggestions? I had the Liberty AC, beauty drop, got the perfume society sampler and masses of 4160 Tuesdays…so I’ve got a lot to choose from!

Beautiful sunny day here so I’ve gone with my first try of Air of Aquarius from Sana Jardin
It’s light and fresh, good for a spring day. Definitely not love but nice for a change
