I blind bought Victoria Secret Bare sueded vanilla and am wearing it today. Got it on 3 for 2 for the smaller sizes. It’s nice but very similar to Sol de Janerio 59. May return the unopened ones. Gets great reviews though on Fragrantica and I can see why but just not sure it’s for me.

I bought the small Sunlit Vanilla off CB. I know the £10 code doesn’t work on that but if anyone is happy with £5 off you can add five samples for £5 but they then take the £5 off (with your £10 off code). I really need to stop buying perfume so Im ok with just the fiver off. Hoping that also works for someone else as wasn’t sure if it was a glitch.

I’m working my way through the SNK floral edit. I like the Kayali more than I expected. The Molecule is ok, not my favourite of their 01+ range. Today’s has been Glossier, which is a nice fruity floral but not a love. Just Dedcool left to try

prada paradoxe intense, or could be original paradoxe the bottle doesn't say. Nice floral but a bit too generic for me today.

I bought one off vinted the other week and on first spray I was meh but now love it and very nostalgic. I was 17/18 when I first bought it at Manchester airport going on hol to Tenerife. Then just stuck with it. 🤣
Im nearly 53. These last 3/4 months I darent think how much fragrance ive bought 🤣

Sotd Summer Fridays blind buy. It’s lovely although I really need to stop blind buying it’s a bad habit.

The Kayali vacay sample set just arrived too so I’ve also got the Maldives one on one wrist and Maui on the other. Both really nice. The Maldives one really reminds me of another but can’t think what. I’m smelling very beach-like today anyway 🤣

CB sent me 6 not 5 Jo Malone samples so quite pleased about that as that’s 9mls in total for nothing 😀. I did use my £10 code tho so wondering if I could have actually got ten samples for free but I didn’t even try 🤦🏼‍♀️

Ok the Summer Fridays turned into a good blind buy it’s already developed a bit and I’m really liking it. Thought I’d already have a few similar perfumes already but I don’t.

After a trip to town ivolving visits to both Space NK and Selfridges I'm pleased to say I was very sensible, and only bought the Space NK woody frag set which has sold out online but still in store. Currently trying the kayali musk santal which is nice, I have a love hate relationship with santal/sandalwood loving some for example MP Santal Austral but getting teh 'dill pickle effect' with some others. Not getting dill pickle with this, not sure what else is in it but the santal is quite sweet and light.

Will also try father figure at some point. Maybe keep by the fireplace which I used to love but went off, possibly time to get back in to it. Will sell molecules cistus, glossier doux and not sure about the rest.

Resisted the urge to buy random fragrance in town - they don't seem to do as many of the selection box type things as they did, for example mfk have stopped doing them. Maybe they realise that means we won't, as hoped, get the bigger bottle for ££££. The 10ml size IS the bigger bottle as far as I'm concerned. It's the perfect size for me in terms of quantity v price and getting enough use out of it before I move on to the next thing.

It's lovely. It was a blind buy for me too but I do like it. I don't mind blind buying the odd travel size when they're under £30 but you're right, it's generally not a sensible idea.

Finally got around to trying the Blanche Absolut from an AC. I’m not a fan of original Blanche and this smells like air freshener to me.

not been very well with a sickness bug which has made all my perfumes smell weird! so I'm taking a bit of a break as I don't want to make myself feel worse, but I have ordered Nest Creme de Clementine from Cult Beauty with 25% off and also 5 of the I don't know whats, for £5. Never got IDKW before but tried it recently and was like ... hmmmm.

Going away for Easter, hopefully better by then, and already thinking what my holiday perfume wardrobe will contain
I think Valaya, fig erotique and I've recently been getting in to some lemony ones notably Lucius and Laundry Day which feel a bit more spring like should spring ever arrive.

can't believe we're in April and it still feels like winter out there.

My SOTD is JHAG Mood Dance layered with Not A Perfume. I think it’s a bit too much musk for me. I’m not a fan of musk, Body Shop White Musk is a smell I cannot stand and there are hints of it here. So it will probably be annoying all day!

Well whether I can tolerate perfume is a good bellweather of getting better, and I just tried kayali musk santal and the nose says yes! It's a fairly gentle one so I think so long as I stay away from the really strong ones I'll be fine. Thanks for the well wishes.

I'm beginning to wish I'd bought my CB haul with next day delivery, but it was £6 as opposed to free delivery on standard although that does mean if my frags land whilst I am away they will be sitting lonely in the box in the back yard where postie chucks things over the gate (with permission) .

Really suprised bu the kayali musk santal as I didn't think I liked santal and I'd gone off Kayali after the awful oudgasms, but this is really quite nice and a contender for favourite Kayali.

SOTD Kayali Capri in a Bottle but it’s only a little sample so layered with Vanilla 28. Taken a dupe out with me to top up during the day today - if anyone else likes Vanilla 28, I can recommend Next Vanilla Rush edp which is almost identical.

I’ve gad a couple of travel IDKW in edits but I’m not sure I’ve ever tested it. Might give it a try today.

I've gone for glossier you soie, I'm still trying the sample and still thinking about returning the TS. I'm not sure it's different enough from the others to keep it 😕

It is nice. It's the only one I rated from that range after trying the sampler set.

I can’t tell the difference much between the You glossiers but all pleasant. I wore another 13 by le labo which used to be my default and a musky one. I like it still but it’s different from all the recent tea/fruity ones. I have finished a bunch of samples which is good!

A load of samples from Notino have just arrived so I’ve got 10 new things to try. Annoyingly I had put on my evening perfume (Lola at Coat Check) just before they came so they will have to wait until tomorrow.

Talking of Lola at Coat Check, I love the way it smells but the longevity is pretty rubbish on me.

Today in my spring Frankenstein FAC was Roja Elysium, so I sprayed it on. It's quite spray-ey when you first spray it, in that it creates a big cloud which you then choke on, but once it dries down, it's really nice. It reminds me of something I used to wear years ago but I can't quite think of the name. I don't think it's unique and definitely not worth the price but I do like it and will use the TS I have 🥰
